Because I don't see the Redskins doing very well against the Eagles
Skins usually play to the level of their competition again and again for years.

Last time I saw them in person, they won the Super Bowl.

Only saw them play three times in Minnesota or Green Bay.

Skins aren't a bad team at all - Cousins is a very effective NFL QB, and they still have enough pieces on offense to be able to move the ball on people. I think the Eagles should win, but this is by no means a walk in the park, especially considering it's a divisional opponent as well.

True...
The tricky thing about the NFL now is it's tough to beat anybody
there have been so many very close games against what appear to be unevenly matched teams

My memory sucks for things like this, but I don't recall many seasons where there was only one undefeated team after week 4.

I've said this many times.
With the exception of maybe 4 to 7 teams, the NFL is an 8-8 league. The difference between going 10-6 or 6-10 is 4 plays.
And that's not a bad thing. It just means that it's hard to predict what will happen.

 I've never been to or heard of a Redskins home game when a fight didn't break out. Probably true of every NFL stadium. The only difference is Eagles fans not only admit to it, but actually relish the attention.

Unless your are Green Bay. Difference between 10-6 and 6-10 is 1 player.

Last season I posted on the NFL thread that my brother has claimed for years...
The difference between the best NFL and the worst NFL is about 15%

The 0-5 49rs
have played down to the last second 3 times this season

Yeah, but I don't know about that. Maybe the difference between best and middle, and worst and middle. But the best team beats the worst team at least 8 out of 10 times.

I'd say it's closer to 4 out of 5 times

That’s still low. I put it at closer to 80 percent.

You know what they say about rounding: it makes a rondng out of u and i. Wait, no. Shit, nevermind. There's some word where you can make a nifty saying out of it by breaking down the letters, but I forget what it was. I assumed it was "rounding".

Assassin is the word you are looking for. It's one "ass" followed by another "ass".

Didn't the Skins knock the Eagles out of the playoffs later that season after the Body Bag game? I can't remember.
