3 teams that absolutely had no business in this tourney were thUGA, Tennessee, and USC. Wichita State should definitely be in.

I can agree with that - I would take Wichita St over those 3 teams.eagleskins wrote:3 teams that absolutely had no business in this tourney were thUGA, Tennessee, and USC. Wichita State should definitely be in.

Missouri State should have been in a head of Wichita State as MSU won the regular season title.GannonFan wrote:I can agree with that - I would take Wichita St over those 3 teams.eagleskins wrote:3 teams that absolutely had no business in this tourney were thUGA, Tennessee, and USC. Great day. UNC is still in the tournament and anytime Duke gets beat, it is a good day.

Butler has the goods. How bad was BYU robbed by the officiating tonight? Jimmer was getting fouled every single time he got in the lane.

GO DAWGS!
I've got a friend who was stubbornly defending Duke (his favorite team) last weekend as they barely got past Michigan, all the while trashing Butler. I told him that Arizona would beat Texas and have a pretty good shot at taking down Duke, and that Butler is for real. His FB status tonight:
Egg on his face!this year is showing me just how wrong I can get about the teams I love to study. Duke lost to Arizona (a pac-10 team?)...and Butler beat Wisconsin.....I'm suckin it up

Agreed. I had Dook to win my pool, but somehow I don't care that they got a beatdown last night. It's only $10 lost again this year.bpcats wrote:Great day. UNC is still in the tournament and anytime Duke gets beat, it is a good day.

Duke losing gets my bracket back into the race. I'm currently in 8th place, but have the largest possible score in the field with 3 final four teams and both finalists remaining. Just need Kentucky to take down the Buckeyes

btw, I've thought the tv coverage this year, with TBS, TNT, and truTV on board, has been fabulous. I normally hated the Sweet 16 games because you'd want to see all 8 and could only see the 4 they picked for your area (although I would watch the other ones on the web, the web was always 30-40 seconds behind live TV so it was hard to line them up to make sure you didn't see the future score of the game you were watching on the web) but it's been great. Amazing that it took this long to make it happen when you can see every game, but it's certainly welcome. Ranks up there with the yellow first down marker in football as one of the best sports tv innovations of the past 20 years.

as a guy with no cable... it's been annoying a bit - although MMOD (which does run behind) is enough...GannonFan wrote:btw, I've thought the tv coverage this year, with TBS, TNT, and truTV on board, has been fabulous. However, I wish they had done this when the Bison were in the tourney - as it was I had to endure their whip arounds...

Well what? No one has been right so far.
Officiating officially sucks for the entire tournament. Not just in the OSU game either so don't call me biased. Every game the officiating has blown dick.

If I had not been a homer and picked Florida over Pitt, my entire final 4 would still be alive. Can't complain though, the last three years I've been 1st heading into the elite 8 and then fallen slowly to 7th and 8th. This year I was 8th and am moving up

If you think the officiating in any of the games so far has blown dick, you didn't watch the Griz-UNC game.Willie wrote:Well what? No one has been right so far.

Just giving you a hard time on the picks. I gave up trying to predict anything in this tournament a LONG time ago.
