Slow day in the mortgage market, Brer Hen?
It is January and rates have gone up 0.25% in the last two weeks.

Congrats on reaching 28,000 posts!

You must have made 1,000 of them in the past week. 8-)

Yes, in a way they do. And the reason is that if you are familiar with the scientific method you know there are limits to the conclusions of climate science. And you know that it's one of those areas where nothing can be inferred with the highest level of confidence. And you know that there is reason to be skeptical about the perception with respect to the precision with which the future climate can be predicted.

Again: Taking the position that "I believe it because the climate scientists say so" is not critical thinking. I guess I can understand it if you're somebody who is not involved in science. It's kind of like if you know nothing about cars you believe the mechanic. But if you have some understanding of the scientific method you know there's a limit to the certainty associated with climate science. It's inherent to the nature of the field.
You're so full of shit that it just has to come out somewhere.. :ohno:

Did you know there is a political forum over at AGS? You should check it out and give us a report in a few years.

Hogue stressed that her story is not unique. About 1 in 3 American have abortions by the age of 45, according to Hogue, who said the "majority are mothers just trying to take care of the families they already have."

I suppose that's a misprint? Since 1 in 2 Americans are male.... :coffee:
In the video, she said 1 in 3 American women. But even so, the claim is fiction. There are no accurate stats on this figure, which is somewhat amazing to me. You could probably find the exact number of knee or hip replacements but not abortions?

In any case, the number of abortions is thankfully on the decline and the sentiment towards abortion is still moving towards the pro-life side. :thumb:
Its always been there. Everybody is pro-life. :coffee:

I hear you. That's why I hate the idea of legalizing marijuana with an Affordable Care Act that requires all to participate in the cost of it.
I hate the idea of having any laws about it one way or the other. It's a fucking plant. Eat oleander and you'll die but no regs for oleander. That's one of the worst things about having a country settled by religious freaks - they always go after anything fun. :ohno:

Late breaking: A young musician friend of mine informs that the new name for gathering with friends at 4:20 to interact socially over some marijuana is now called a Jeff session. :thumb:

So you'll listen to three hours, but not 50 minutes? ;)

A broken clock is right twice a day. Give it a shot.
