I haven't followed the Catholic news lately, did Pope Frank allows priests to marry in South America ( I think that's where they're going to test it)?
He hasn't issued a final decision. The Amazon bishops did vote in favor of it, but that's just a consensus vote with no authority. AFAIK, it's not really a test, meaning it's not supposed to be a trial, but a solution for that specific region. I do hope it does become precedent though.
