Wow. Without looking it up I think this is the biggest Cinderella story ever in the CWS. When schools like Fresno State won it that was one of those California baseball schools. When Rice won it that was Rice. It wasn't that big a surprise.

This is like if Georgia Southern or The Citadel had won it when they made it in.
