I love that, now drop another bomb on both of them. Break out the heavy equipment, level it and start over with a larger more peaceful Israel.

That's a weird meme. Acid Rain was real, and reductions in sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides have certainly reduced the magnitude of acid rain and its impacts. And the ozone layer was depleting, and large reductions in CFC's certainly helped to bring the layer back to where it is today. These really aren't controversial or debatable. :coffee:
Sure the meme is an exaggeration of what the climate alarmists have said, but on the flip side the climate alarmists have exaggerated the effects of the above, including the 2 you mentioned. As far as the other 3:

-The mid through late 20th century the climate alarmists were predicting ‘peak oil‘ around 2000. They‘ve since pushed that prediction later and later and later, and we still haven‘t hit it, and may never, thanks to improved extraction technology.
-Weren‘t the ice caps suppose to have melted by according to the climate alarmists?

I was just pointing out that the two things in your meme, acid rain and the ozone layer, have both been improved through regulation, first of sulfur and nitrous oxides in the former, and then of CFC's in the latter. It's been a win for everyone as there have been better alternatives we could turn to.

Regulation of aerosols contribute to global cooling ?

https://science.nasa.gov/science-resear ... e-effects/

In an ironic twist of climate science, air pollution caused by burning fossil fuels has a slight cooling effect on the planet, which is the opposite of the warming caused by greenhouse gases.

This has been theorized for a very long time. Plus, the cooling is very temporary.

Unlike volcanic aerosols, air pollution does not travel very high in the atmosphere, so it only lasts for 3 to 5 days. But air pollution aerosols are produced continuously, so these particles are a constant presence.

From your article:
In an ironic twist of climate science, air pollution caused by burning fossil fuels has a slight cooling effect on the planet, which is the opposite of the warming caused by greenhouse gases. But there’s nothing beneficial about air pollution for the environment or human life. Air polluted by fossil fuels leads to the premature death of around 8 million people globally each year. Tiny particles emitted during fossil fuel combustion can be inhaled, and they can cause asthma, respiratory infections, lung cancer, and heart disease.

Jesus. Really? From your quote.

They have no way to either quantify nor validate these results. Stop peddling bullshit. This is the sort of shit I keep pointing out to you. You'll go around claiming 8 million are dying but be unable to even explain how they got that number, nor if it's even been validated.

Sounds like nothing is really settled on climate change

“Scientists are working to better understand the ways aerosols interact with clouds. Some aerosols from human pollution can change the size or lifetime of water droplets inside clouds. When water droplets become smaller, clouds reflect more sunlight. Overall, this has a cooling effect on the atmosphere. Similarly, some aerosols like dust can influence how ice particles form in colder clouds. This is an area of active research, so stay tuned for updates as the science develops.”
