That is exactly my point. At least 100 of those yards, not to mention at least 7 pts, were made possible by the imcompetancy of bill fette in discharging his responsibilities in the booth. That is why its such a shame. :ohno:

Incompetency? :ohno:

No one wants to take anything away from the young man, especially you, but bill fette was his leading blocker on most if not all of his big plays.

Something to think about.
Where was that tool bag last December 10th?
Sorry thundering herd. That is the first mention of "the unfortunate game" in this thread. It showed up on the first page.

Maybe, before you start on your high horse you should get your facts straight?

Maybe, before you start lecturing, you could bring something to the thread, something about NDSUs Spring Practice maybe?

The obsession with "that game" is from the fans of other schools. Really my man, get in the game ok? :thumb:

Not yet. 8-)

That's who the smack is for, Herd, not all the great Bison fans out there. :thumb:

I know it's like teasing monkeys at the zoo, they hurl themselves at the cage and fling feces at the crowd while they screech in rage, but damn, it's just too much fun to hear Lakes go off like a pair of wind-up false teeth, with JBB's half-witted jabbering acting as a lovely counter-melody. Sure as the sun sets in the west.....

Here is some football news:

Word is starting to come in from the BISON scrimmage today at the NDSU Football Compound. The defense is over the top. 8 sacks. Two from Kyle Emanuel and 2 from Cole Jink. Very dominate physically. They are going to lead the way. Remember defense wins championships.

QB situation is now Brock Jensen and Esley Thorton.

Gebhart is really starting to distinguish himself at wide receiver. Taylor Nelson is emerging. He had a TD catch today. Lots of real nice catches today.

They are talking about the debth I mentnioned earlier in the blog.

The BISON are going to have a tremendous running game. Its a very physical football team, big, in shape looking very good coming off the bus and executing on the field.

The hype around the BISON is starting to build. Over 100 people showed up at the NDSU Football Compound for todays scrimmage. The talk is national championship. The realization is dynasty.

Two videos at this link.

The crowd at the spring game should be good. There is a lot of interest in what is becoming obvious: NDSU has a good football team.

As we enter the 4th Dynasty we will outgrow the Fabulous Fargo Dome and maybe even the MVFC. All of that lies in the future but it is built on a strong foundation of football tradition. These are exciting times for NDSU, its fans and the NDSU Football Conglomerate!

After analysing all the data coming out of Fargo and the NDSU practice compound a couple things are clear:

1) There is good depth, if not great
2) This is going to be a team defined by its defense

The offense will rely on the running game. There should be some improvement in the passing attack, but the most important thing for them to do is develop into a ball control team that can keep their defense off the field. That is the formula, at least for now, to win consistently.

One last item of concern is the place-kicking. It needs a lot of work.

That doesnt make any sense. I havent been patting myself on the back at all. I have been bringing forth the strong points of the NDSU Football Team. Just not the same thing at all. I think what you have done is mixed metaphores. :twocents:

It's metaphors, and no, he didn't get them mixed up at all. It was quite aptly applied. :thumb: Don't worry JBB, you'll reach D-I level posting someday. Maybe.

u r a good at using your spell checker, and I hope you continue to help me out, but you are not good at metaphors. Patting The BISON on the back is not the same as patting myself on the back.

So JBB you do not consider yourself part of NDSU? You sure get upset when a few calls do not go their way. I am fairly sure I have seen you post WE more than once when posting about NDSU. I am just saying.....

Just having some fun JBB. Glad to hear the Bison are loaded and ready to make a run next year. If they can find a good QB they might really make a deep run in the playoffs next year. :thumb:

Thank you slo stang for some of what you say. Now on to the matter at hand:

The NDSU BISON running game has a solid 1-2 punch with DJ McNorton and Sam Ojouri. McNortons ability as a top running back is well documented (see Bisonville (reference McNorton vs Jones)).

Sam Ojouri on the other hand is an unknown to most in the FCS. He is another NFL quality tailback. With this combination and the powerful NFL quality front line, defenses will get little rest. Here is some film with a few clips of Sam Ojouri on the practice field, a few words from Head Coach Craig Bohl and some looks at defense etc:

http://www.gobison.com/SportSelect.dbml ... PSID=11850" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As an aside to another matter brought up from the gallery:

A few calls would be putting it mildly dont you think? Getting upset is the forte of the EWU fans and those loyal to them who are quite cognizant of their legitimacy gap when it comes to their singular national championship. If I happen to mention it, I simply present the historical record and watch the monkeys in their vein effort to bury the truth.

Image

As we speak the machine known as BISON FOOTBALL is designing a strategic plan of attack on the MVFC, FCS and the Minnesota Gophers. The vast resources available to this small but influential group of football giants are being gathered from across this formally great country of ours.

Tirelessly this small group labors away. Input is being received with grace from the football network that ties the legendary NDSU BISON football program to the other great icons of the college game.

As the NDSU Football Conglomerate continues with the business at hand and the midnight oil is burning in the modestly lavish and conservatively plush yet highly functional headquarters of college football deep under the stands at the prestigious and Fabulous Fargo Dome, you all may continue with your childish antics!

JBB. I see you still haven't figured out the use of the quote option.

JBB, you're gonna have to stop with this act because I'm starting to feel real bad for you and NDSU program. I know you're having a tough time accepting the fact that EWU beat the bison because we're a superior team, and that your jealousy over EWU having a D-I title that's infinitely more relevant than NDSU's D-II titles from over two decades ago clouds your vision, but please try. Someday you'll be ascend to greatness like that of the EWU Football Dynasty, but it's not going to be for quite a while. Don't cry, it'll be okay JBB. It'll be okay. :thumb:
