The first important thing is....
1) he'll have a 100 million dollar legal team
2) As Ivy can attest - legal teams of enormous size have the resources to bury the prosecution in mountains of endless bullsh!t stretching things out over a period of years
and ultimately tricking the Prosecution into making a mistake - it only takes one mistake
3) You never know who's on the take... piles of money work wonders for slowing things down
4) As much as we pride ourselves on being "Rule of Law" we're 66% banana republic

trust me on this... it won't be a satisfying resolution
We could get lucky and the lawyers bleed them dry...

I don’t share your cynical view of the American legal system. Have you ever been on the wrong end of a lawsuit?
Oh come on...it's totally corrupt and unprincipled (including civil) and favors the money. Spend the dough to procedure someone to death and get off the hook. The court doesn't care about right or wrong, only the process. It may not always work (especially if the adversary has money too), but there's a reason it's a go-to strategy.

Well, your own experience as a litigant in the one matter I’m aware of, as related to me by you, didn’t quite reach that level of “cynichizzm.” 8-) That said, litigation can be emotionally and financially draining. One reason I entered the mediation field was to help people (especially those not represented by lawyers, which constitute a steadily rising percentage of litigants) resolve their disputes without all that stress and expense. I get more professional satisfaction out of settling a community or neighborhood problem than I did from winning a case at trial.

Hillary should have paid them more. You can't cheap out on hitmen. She's really lost a step since her heyday in the 80s and 90s.

Is it suspicious that Epstein suddenly seems to not have the political cover he has had before? Or just coincidence?

Or is it just that nobody can get away with this indefinitely?

Well that wasn’t what I was getting at...

so much as the seeming fact that no matter how much money you have or how connected you are - you can only be so brazen and sleazy before this crap catches up to you
