Even if you're right on Bernie (about which I'm doubtful) the DOJ needs to investigate Hillary after the FBI is finished and without any undue influence from the executive branch. If the FBI came banging on my door to get access to my computer, they'd just come in and take it. Why can she get by with releasing bits and pieces as she gets around to it? It's a double standard for top tier politicians and us lowly citizens.

Same with financial prosecutions.

The DoJ doesnt do criminal investigations itself- thats the FBI (the investigative arm of DoJ)

FBI will build their case and present it to the AG who will then decide whether to bring it to a grand jury or do a direct indictment... or not

FBI was up in arms about Petraeus... thought the AG let him off easy. If the AG doesnt do anything with this they may have a mutiny. Based on established facts we already know, Hillary and some of her staff are already chargeable

To me, this shows that Bernie has no balls. That is my biggest knock on him. The socialism thing doesn’t bother me. 1) I doubt he’ll have Congress on his side to get his agenda passed, but more promising is 2) when/if we go full socialist, I’ll gladly take my ball and go home. Fuck working harder and earning more just to have the gubmint take more of it to distribute. I won’t hesitate to liquidate and downgrade to be “poor” to get in on the potential gubmint handouts that will be coming down the pipe. Sign me up. Either way he already admitted to raising taxes on the middle class to pay for his agenda and that won’t fly in the general election, especially if Trump holds on.

But back to my first point regarding his lack of balls, as Cid pointed out the implications of the server breach and Bernie’s lack of effort, or care, regarding that significant issue and subsequently his failure to hold Hildabeast to a higher standard (since you know after all she was SOS) shows he doesn’t have what it takes to be more than a guy that is just jumping up and down waving his hands screaming, “I’ll give everyone free shit!!!”

The outrage, shock horror and appall is perfectly scaled to meet demand
If she slips through this - it is officially OVER for the GOP in this presidential race
So as much as we're supposed to be (see: Horrified - Appalled above) what we're really watching is to see if she can wiggle out of this situation... because if she does - good night Irene

America has somehow survived the atrocity of wiki-leaks and managed to eek out a corner of the globe where we can limp along in relative peace and safety after the entire world went ablaze from the disaster

Oh.. wait... Yeah that's right that didn't happen
The shopping Malls didn't close
The airports still worked just fine
Nobody stopped texting while driving
the distractions of daily life never even skipped a beat

The Hillary Email Scandal is no Wiki-Leak
But the only hope the GOP has is to make it - at the very least - as significant

You're dead wrong on this one, Cleets.

I know you're cynical about our politicians and government in general- I am too. And for many people, you're right about their motivations- this IS about getting Hillary Clinton.

But you're wrong about the implications- they do exist and they ARE serious. When the kind of stuff she had on her server gets out in the open, good people do die. It doesn't take much for foreign intelligence to figure out who our snitches are, and they can also assess our capabilites. It matters- this person who couldn't be bothered to safeguard sensitive info wants the keys to the realm- she doesn't deserve them, and the last thing we need is people carrying her water for her out of a sense of "well, it isn't a big deal it's just politics"m

One tidbit that people are missing in the latest email revelation is that Steve Mull was trying to get her to accept a dept blackberry because her personal server had crashed FOUR times. Why was it crashing? Because the Chinese and the Russians and god knows who else were crawling around inside it. The whole reason we know about her server is because Sidney Blumenthal's own email had been hacked. Even a teenage kid woud have been able tpo identify her email from that.

Add to this that NOBODY is going to want to give us intelligence if they can't even trust the nation's top diplomat to safeguard that info. In that respect, this is worse than wikileaks.

Just because we are a banana republic doesn't mean we should be throwing up our hands and saying "well fvck it, we're a banana republic". We still need to demand that our leaders follow the law when it comes to state secrets.
Well she lost my vote long before this version of Wiki-Leaks part two...
And you're correct she doesn't deserve the reward of "Queen for a day" I wholeheartedly agree

But she is (like all of them at her level) above the law
and spending Benghazi money on this side-show is more republican desperation than justice

I pretty much just hate them all...
None of them care about what's best for regular Americans

Naw he’s a pussy. Hildabeasts failed leadership as SOS is more than fair game…especially since that is all she has to hang her hat on as far as executive experience goes. Bernie needs to grow a pair and go for the jugular. Instead he’ll be in a toss up race with Hildabeast. Pussy shit right there. :coffee:

We found out about the server because Blumenthal's was hacked. Anyone hacking him is trying to get to Clinton. Thats why her server was continually crashing

IMO, I don't know if Bernie and his staff were devious enough to plan it or if he is nutless and just got lucky but Bernie has benefited from not going after Hillary. Taking the high road has earned him points with the Dem base and helped him gain on Hillary which has given his candidacy legitimacy. The Reps are doing his dirty work for him which is also helping his campaign. He get's to have his cake and eat it too and the ball is starting to roll downhill. Hillary better hope it doesn't keep picking up steam and run her over.

Now as far as Dawg's wet dream of Bernie winning the White House. He is similar to Trump and while there are throngs of people who his message appeals to there are also throngs of people who will be turned off by his socialism. I also think that in a general election he will be exposed as an arrogant, angry old man with little patience for his underlings or those that disagree with him. He has been able to avoid the scrutiny as an underdog but if he wins the nomination the light will shine on him and I don't think people will like what they see. The same applies to Trump.

This is all opinion and I could be wrong in which case I'll need to eat a little crow but AZ could very well be right and this could be a Palin moment for Dawg.

One thing that is conspicuously missing is a grand jury. The FBI cannot issue subpoenas without one. In cases like this, one would normally have already been appointed. The FBI would need to subpoena classified docs from other agencies to compare them with emails sent on Hillary's server, etc.

Loretta Lynch already took a pass on an embezzlement charge for Huma Abedin (for doing something that I would have to be plea bargaining for as we speak) so whop knows? Maybe the administration plans to take a total pass on Hillary, which is why there is no grand jury.

This right here, to me, is just another nail in her coffin. Files that pass through SIPR or JWICS must first be declassified (and documented as such) before they are allowed to be disseminated via NIPR. And before any of you ask, "Can't you accidentally email something from SIPR to NIPR?" Not really. You have to download the information from SIPR or JWICS (which means you're saving it to your local machine, I hope it's secure) then put it on NIPR. Which means, you just took classified information, improperly, and sent it improperly. Two big No-Nos that the SoS should understand.

People like Dback may think this is nonsense, but it isn't. Red or Blue, dissemination of classified information improperly is a serious offense. No matter the level of classification.

I doubt it. Because she directed them to do something that is considered wrong/illegal, they won't be charged because it will pave the road to her. And they clearly are trying to build a wall/moat/forest around Clinton.

Nope. Huma or Mills will take the fall on this part, and unless they turn evidence on Hillary it would end there. They are loyal subjects, and a few million would compensate them for the six months (maximum) they would spend in jail after a deal.

Wouldnt be the first time someone has fallen on their sword for mishandling files on behalf of a Clinton

As usual you're wrong. Bernie doesn't have to get his hands dirty, he's got the conks doing it for him. He gets his dirty work done and gets to scold the conks about their obsession with Hillary! Dude is clearly the best politician in the field, deserves to be elected. :thumb:
Naw he’s a pussy. Hildabeasts failed leadership as SOS is more than fair game…especially since that is all she has to hang her hat on as far as executive experience goes. Bernie needs to grow a pair and go for the jugular. If he did, he could put Hildabest away and focus the remaining primary months on clowning trump and the rest of the retards (save Rubio) in the conk clown car. Instead he’ll be in a toss up race with Hildabeast. Pussy **** right there. :coffee:
I agree 100% that her record is fair game - there is lots of game time left too before election day for going negative. So far the high road is working for Bernie, he drew 7,000 people in Alabama in spite of a near-total blackout of coverage by the msm, which should be be an aha moment for you as to who the six corporations that own 90% of the msm really would not like to see in their White House.

But... but... Z said that was my Sarah Palin moment....yet you agree with me...... :?...

Kind of a lefty Dick Cheney. Just the kind of mean old prick we need to turn loose on Wall Street. :coffee:
