This one might be over.

I still think Hilldog takes it, but in more of a nailbiter than she expected. Something like 287-251, as I look at the current RCP toss-up states. I think Hillary takes NC and CO (24 total),in addition to the 263 they already have her down for. I think Trump can take FL-OH-GA-IA-AZ-NV-ME2 and it still won't quite be enough.

There are a bunch of tossup states polling within the margin of error now though, so who knows? Need to get those PA coal miners fired up. SEPTA also struck today, so that could conceivably keep some Philly negros away from the polls. PA would be a dealbreaker for Clinton if she fails there.

I agree the odds are the bitch takes Colorado, but the 1st post Comey announcement poll out in CO has Hillary on +1. Last time a poll had her only +1 in CO was at the beginning of Oct.

Looking at the RCP map (with links to all recent state polls) I think Trump takes all the gray toss ups except for CO and NH. That = Clinton 272, Trump 266. That my prediction.

But I'll say it here: if Trump can win EITHER CO or PA, he will win. If he can't he loses. I'd give him about a 30-40% chance...

The House won't pick anyone who is actually running for president. Their pick would suck, but it would almost surely be better than the crook or the clown. We could go from the fire back to the frying pan, so in that way we win.

But in that case, half the country would feel they were ripped off when somebody from the other party is chosen. That's a really bad environment IMO.

Honestly, half the country will feel that way if Trump or Clinton wins.

Not sure how you can say that Ryan won't piss off the tea party/Trump types. They HATE him. He will never be president.

They are going to be pissed regardless because the House will not declare Trump president under any circumstances.

I'm talking about the choice that will piss off the Tea Party the LEAST while also choosing someone who will be level headed. I think the trade off there is Ryan. Another possibility there is Rubio but as far as the Trump voters go, he'll be a wash with Ryan. The House will pick someone who did not pick boogers like Rubio in the primaries and that means Ryan (pisses off TP) and Kasich (REALLY pisses off TP)

Remember- these congresscritters want to get re-elected, and in the changing voting landscape, Trump/Cruz/any other nut is not an option.
