It appears they're already working some stuff in to take advantage of Armanti:

"Saw a play where Armanti Edwards took the snap and Smith ran a reverse, it basically turned into an option play where Edwards pitched Smitty the ball (both running to the same side of the field). "

The Panthers' WR coach is pretty happy with Edwards so far.

Rookie Armanti Edwards has never run a route, caught a pass or turned a catch into a game-changing touchdown in a college football game, much less at the NFL level.
And that’s just fine with his new Panthers wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert.
He views the fact that Edwards has never played the position before as a positive rather than a negative.
“He comes here and he has no bad habits,” said Tolbert. “The stuff that I’m teaching him, well, it’s his first time learning it so that’s a good thing.”

i fricken love AE... saw him play at Tiger Stadium at 10am before hurricane gustav! i remember when his helmet got popped off. this dude is an absolute steal... im drafting him in my fantasy football league. hes the next devin hester. i havent had this much hype about a player since reggie bush.... oh and fyi this girl next to me in my math class stinks sooooo bad and shes tipping the scale around 200 and shes like 5'4" = bowling ball! oh thank god she got up and left
