I as well. They talked about it during the Bengal game. Kind of getting sick of it. But then again...we will see this weekend when they meet up with the Steelers.andy7171 wrote:While I'll agree it is too early to judge. The NFL season is barely 3 weeks old - and that's just 3 games that Flacco's had to throw to Boldin. If you really think he's not the real deal, then we'll just have to wait until later in the season and see how he's doing then. Not too many people are predicting Baltimore to not be a major force in the AFC and I haven't seen anything so far to doubt that few.

The Browns ran right over Ngata and RayRay, you know the Steelers are a better running team and it's in Pittsburgh. Things could get ugly ... I hope.

Yea, but Andy, who's going to fill the role of the ball carrier? That guy from the Browns was a HORSE. The Steelers have nobody like that.andy7171 wrote:The Browns ran right over Ngata and RayRay, you know the Steelers are a better running team and it's in Pittsburgh. Things could get ugly ... I hope.

Rashard Mendenhall is pretty damned good. And I think the Steelers o-line is slightly better than Cleveland.

Why wouldn't you have the Ravens on a short list of potential Super Bowl teams? Haven't they been in either the conference championship or conference semis each of the past two years? And they didn't lose anything in the offseason to say that they would fall back to the pack - on the contrary, by most accounts they got better. It's not crazy to talk of the Ravens being a team that could make and win the Super Bowl - they have all the makings of a playoff team and then we'll see. Even a Week 4 matchup with the Steelers won't necessarily tell us much about what may happen in late January.grizzaholic wrote:I as well. They talked about it during the Bengal game. You're right. I thought you said not too many people are predicting the Ravens to be a force in the AFC. I re-read, your use of a double negative threw me.GannonFan wrote:Why wouldn't you have the Ravens on a short list of potential Super Bowl teams?
