Having a good defense isn't on the criteria list for making the playoffs. AppStateAlumQC's thoughts are much closer to the committee's than yours are. So he might not get a say, but you don't, either, and his is closer to what they WILL say.

They would have ZERO quality wins. I have a lot of respect for South Carolina State's program and their recent success, as well as their fans who I have met during their last two trips to Boone. But, they simply don't deserve to be in the playoffs based on their overall resume no matter what happens the rest of the way.
