He didn't post any BS to be called out on. Some people just aren't looking at the link carefully to see what it is saying and that isn't his fault...that's yours.

Here's the link for the last full year I found with only seconds of work.

http://www.clc.com/clcweb/publishing.ns ... nnual+2009" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good work bringing it to the board for discussion and vetting SACCAT. :thumb:
:kisswink:

Hey, it's all cool Ursus.

First of all, I was just quoting SACCAT's own "Horse SH**" line and getting in a cheap shot. All in fun.

Secondly, you say that he was "mistaken" that he posted that this was for "all the schools in college football". He should've done what you ask us to do... read the fuckin' article... before he posted it. Not only was the article about only one quarter of royalties, but it's only about CLC's list of clients! WTF?! He posts a CLC promotion piece and acts like it actually means something?

Cable "news" has distorted this country's sense of what is news; what is fact; what is opinion; and what is blatant self-promotion. :ohno:

I'm sorry. I call bullshit on that. You may disagree.

Thirdly, we did look at the link carefully to see what it was saying. SACCAT didn't. Excuse me, but that is his "fault" (read: BS), not ours.

Lastly, your link for the entire year of 2009 is: a.) outdated, and b.) STILL just a list of CLC's clients. Totally useless regarding this thread's topic: "FCS top Merch. sales"

If SACCAT wouldn't have made it sound like this was some sort of complete list, there'd be no issue. However...

Look, he made a mistake and sarcastically apologized for it, and I sarcastically accepted his apology.

Moving on...

Thanks for the link Urpus. Pretty impressive for Montana and Delaware to be the only schools in the top 75 without an FBS football team or top flight basketball team.

I guess since it was a website for CLC and not one of the other companies I just took it as being pretty obvious that it is for their Universities. Kinda like if Rainbird put out a list of top sellers. I know it's not gonna include Hunter, Toro, and so on and so forth customers on that list.

Missed the "horse shit" line just being back at SAC so that's my bad. :D

As far as the not current part? No kidding but it is the MOST CURRENT that I saw at first glance so I grabbed it.

We went over the part about SAC making a mistake there already. No need to tread that water since I put that out there.

I didn't see where it was being put forth as some legitimate new source but I've missed shit before and my initial "WTF?" over it was from Lastminuteman's post. Hell it'd be cool to have a full view of all the colleges out there but I never see them posted from the other licensing agencies (haven't looked either) but having some idea in comparison to the schools that are on the list is better than nothing I guess.

Yeah and with a few other schools in our same predicaments start to pop up in the list in comparison to the FBS schools I'll be happy to see it.

Hate to correct ya but it appears your reading is fine. Realizing who the author was is the problem.

Of all the schools in college football

Montana--#56
Montana State--#72
Delaware--#73
JMU--#74
(68.) Villanova University
(69.) Georgetown University

BTW, I'm surprised UD made the list. They suck at merchandising. :ohno:
Most of the merchandise sales for Villanova and Georgetown are because of basketball. The other schools listed in the original post would get most of the sales through football, IMO.

Here's a good looking shirt! I had no idea the Grizz had a global marketing campaign.
