FYI, there ARE married priests in the Catholic Church. There just aren't that many of them. The vast majority of them (if not all of them) were married as ANGLICAN priests and converted. It worked out great for him because his wife took care of things he didn't like doing, like washing and ironing the altar linens.

I know Jeff personally. I work with Jeff frequently. His motivation is NOT personal financial gain. I have, in my life, never EVER met a more committed person. Anderson goes after pedophiles and abusers - any way he can, and anywhere he finds them. He's committed vast amounts of personal resources to that end as well - frequently working pro-bono for victims of abuse - and I LIKE the fact that he's gone after a culture that protects abusers... it sends a clear message (and a correct one) that those who cover up abuse are just as guilty as the offenders themselves...

I know Jeff personally. I work with Jeff frequently. His motivation is NOT personal financial gain. I have, in my life, never EVER met a more committed person. Anderson goes after pedophiles and abusers - any way he can, and anywhere he finds them. He's committed vast amounts of personal resources to that end as well - frequently working pro-bono for victims of abuse - and I LIKE the fact that he's gone after a culture that protects abusers... it sends a clear message (and a correct one) that those who cover up abuse are just as guilty as the offenders themselves...
