Here's the Presidents schedule...must be taking it easy after picking all #1 seeds to advance to final four

---

According to his public schedule.

Obama has four behind-closed-doors meetings from 10 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.: his daily briefing, a talk with the USAID administrator, a session with senior advisers, and a huddle with his defense secretary. All of the meets are in the Oval Office, and all of them are “closed press,” the White House says.

But at 2:55 p.m., Obama will emerge to “accept an award from a coalition of good government groups and transparency advocates to recognize ‘his deep commitment to an open and transparent government

Palin on her Facebook page today

Cites Obama's drilling moratorium, his proposed elimination of oil tax incentives in the 2012 budget and his regulatory policies as catalysts for higher gas prices.

===

Palin: Thank Obama for Higher Gasoline Prices

"The evidence of the President's anti-drilling mentality and his culpability in the high gas prices hurting Americans is there for all to see.

"This was no accident. Through a process of what candidate Obama once called 'gradual adjustment,' American consumers have seen prices at the pump rise 67 percent since he took office," Palin writes.

So could you explain to me exactly how much it adds to the actual cost at the pump by not drilling here..?
Please let me know EXACTLY what that amount is

Then you and I can have a conversation - I think I can help you out a little bit on this one
First however I'd like you to defend you post accurately

Here's a little pre-war gas information for starters

Wow. You've gone from copy/pasting sometimes-legit news articles to Palin's facebook page. Might be time to hang 'em up.

Hey! Just what I like to see in the morning!

Another useless dead horse Sarah Palin speculation thread.

I've been saying all along she will never get the nomination. She's fun to look at, and she pisses off the left which always has entertainment value, but when she has to show half a brain and actually debate real candidates she is going to fold like origami.

the conservative intelligentsia seems to have turned on her this week... prompting a rousing defense from the dittoheads... an interesting rift is forming... and I think the fact that conk intellectuals are swinging at her shows just how afraid of her winning they are.

she commands a decent bloc of the base... and I still don't see anyone in conk camp who I can point to and say "they are the one to beat Palin"

she's slipping, but in fractured field - all she has to do is hold most of what she has now to win (or at least be the front-runner)... now in Dem circles - it's always dangerous to be the front-runner early - sort of like leading a long distance track event early - the field reels you in, and you're too gassed from leading to hold them off... conk world works a bit different - but it'll be interesting to see if that holds for them too.

The far right people I talk with on a daily basis rant and rave about her as if she was the second coming of Reag…I mean Christ. I guess they are ignoring their “lack of experience” and “too dumb to lead America” arguments that they clamored about in 2008 when Obama was running for office. It’s pretty comical at first, but when you sit back and realize there is a good chance America will have to choose between Obama and Palin…well… :ohno:

Agree Cid...I started this thread more for SH's benefit than to discuss the merits (or lack thereoff) of a Palin nomination. My apologies for picking a scab...

Yeah, I shouldn't have called you out but your post does hit home with many people. There were Libs here that railed on W for time at the ranch but have been eerily silent during O's vacations. All of a sudden they ask everyone to take the high road.

I'm on your side that a Prez is never really on vacation. It's easily the hardest job on the planet. All you have to do is look at what POTUS's look like when they go into office and when they come out. It's a grinder.

I agree with Appa that vacation days are 1) a misnomer when you're talking about being POTUS... 2) an absurd measure of anything given number 1

but for the hell of it

2009: Obama takes 26 "all or partial" vacation days
2001: Bush takes 69 "all or partial" vacation days - including almost the entire month of August
1981: Reagan takes 42 "all or partial" vacation days
1989: HW Bush takes 40 "all or partial" vacation days
1993: Clinton takes 21 "all or partial" vacation days
1977: Carter takes 17 "all or partial" vacation days
