Bring the next excuse to the floor - can't say they haven't played anyone now. 4-1 and counting on the "murderous 7-game stretch".

Beat the Lakers in front of a sold out crowd last night . Lou Williams - goto guy down the stretch.

Place thundered down the stretch with the "Beat LA" chants from the 80's.

18-7

How about "they haven't won anything yet"?

I'm keeping this thread real - it doesn't say NBA Champs or Eastern Conference Champs - it's winning the Atlantic which is essentially down to just 2 teams already.....

Jeremy Lin making the Knicks relevant again. Sixers up 3 games on Boston & 6 on New York.

Meh. Elton Brand will ram it down Jeremy's throat!

Wolves stole that game on a phantom foul call on Iguodala with 0.1 seconds left in the game. NBA officiating this year has been at its lowest point ever - lower than the Tim Donaghy days...

Wolves finally got a call in that game
Everything else went Philly's way.

Another loss last night, to Memphis. Sixers had horrible first quarter and never caught up. Same issue as last year: poor or streaky shooting. :x

Break couldn't come at a better time - nobody is playing very well and they're banged up.

Here's a stat for you:

Andre Iguodala: Total 4th Qtr FG's in the last seven games: ONE

Totally winnable game last night and they couldn't have thrown the ball into the ocean.

The Celts & Knicks are 3 games back - 4 after the heat game tonight, but the Sixers have to fix their issues on the offensive end of the floor.

I see the 76'ers have their eyes on the prize.

He only played 4 minutes, fouled out early so he could get his "game" on.

Losing streak snapped against Detroit last night. Tough home test against OKC tonight.

Yep, blew away a bad Pistons team last night. If Spencer Hawes isn't going to come back this team needs to make a move before the deadline. Would like to see us trade Iguodala for some frontcourt size. Elton Brand contract will be amnestied this off-season too.

Painful home loss against the Thunder last night - had our chances - didn't get it done. Too many missed shots, turnovers & lost rebounds....

Good news, supposedly Hawes is back in 2 weeks, will believe it when I see it.

Even though they play a different team every night - I feel like I'm watching the same game on DVR - tight game that Sixers lose in the end because no one can make a shot. This team needs to make a deal - get Iguodala out for a scorer. Is Boston still trading Pierce?

Sixers walloped what looked like an old Celtics team last night - just ran them into the ground from the jump. Evan Turner played a career game. Spencer Hawes supposedly mending nicely & might only miss 2 more games. With the Knicks stringing some losses together the East lead isn't shrinking anymore. Date with the Knicks Sunday at MSG.

Turner and Williams were beasts today in big road win over Knicks. Linsanity has crashed to earth.

Yep Linsanity lasted about as long as a gallon of milk does before it turns sour. Sixers looking really good right now - getting a firmer hold on the Atlantic. Now if Orlando will deal Howard this week we can look better at a 3 seed.

Even though the Celtics are even in the loss column now with the Sixers, the schedule which had benefited Boston over the past month tilts back in the Sixers favor the rest of the way. The road is littered with a lot of sub-.500 teams for the Sixers.
