MLK Drive in the town YOU live?

And I'll be cruising 12th St. in downtown Oakland tonight wearing black face makeup shouting, "Dontcha know we be gittin' free chicken now with the Brother callin' the shot. Pull over, I gotstah take a dump."

Nope, a little exaggeration to augment humor. I live in Madison WI, we work for a living, we take care of our families and friends, we take care of ourselves - hence no MLK Drive.

I may move soon, the first thing I check out in researchin a new locale is if a MLK Drive drive exists, if so, I spin the globe. No offense against MLK of course.
I can't even tell you how many MLKs we have by me. In other words, stay away from where I live

It's sad that MLK's name is tarnished as such. I was in Chicago recently and got lost. Saw a MLKD sign and I stopped my car, locked the doors and call 911 and requested a chopper to rescue me.
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Yeah they are never good, you may have overreacted slightly, but still best to get away from it as quickly as possible. By me I once saw the first two cars at a stop light get carjacked and the day just went on as usual. That was a sight, let me tell you. Such is Newark, NJ though.
