Well apparently I came in at a "bad time"...

Even if there WAS a run on a particular branch (which would necessitate about $300,000 in cash flowing OUT, assuming no one came in and deposited money), it would take about 15 minutes to go get MORE cash from another institution.

I'm not saying it COULDN'T happen, but if it DID happen, that is one piss-poorly run branch. And in NO case should it take more than about 1/2 an hour to get MORE cash.

edit: But in your case, it probably WAS a hallucination.
