One thing worth noting is that 8 different teams have won the last 11 titles, so the lax world certainly is changing. I also heard that the Final Four is going to be in LA in a couple year.
Hopefully DeLuca can get the Hens back in the mix. We haven't done shit since making the Final Four in 2007.

You hosted the quarter-finals. Haven't seen that many fans in that stadium since......

Delaware hosted the men's lax finals twice. Delaware Stadium is a perfect lax venue with no track and stands right on top of the field.

Ask the Big Ten.
Is it as popular and taken as seriously at the youth/high school level in the Midwest as in the Mid-Atlantic?

Unfortunately, or probably fortunately actually, I don't live in South Bend or Columbus. Couldn't tell ya.

Not yet, but quickly getting there. It used to be just the Baltimore/Annapolis area and Long Island for HS lacrosse. It has expanded extremely fast into other parts of the country.

The LA series will be less filled that Boston. If the NCAA wants to make money on the Final Four weekend, they will keep it between NYC and Baltimore. M&T would have been packed for all 3 mens games, and almost for the WLAX.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"

Sure, when Maryland, Maryland, Towson and Navy are four of the final 8. But if it were Denver, Ohio State, Syracuse and North Carolina.... not so much.

Gonzaga has been consistently better the past 7 years. Landon beat Gonzaga 10-8 this year. That's always a great game.

I haven't played high school lacrosse since 1995, so I haven't paid much attention TBH. Especially now that I don't have the sports section of the Washington Post to peruse (I do miss my morning constitutional with the WP crossword  ). Landon was the best team around back then. Along with Langley, W.T. Woodson and Robinson. I know there were some other good Maryland teams besides Landon but I can't remember them.

These days McDonogh, Boys Latin and Landon are probably the three best in Maryland.

Georgetown Prep is playing in a tournament at Catholic this week on ESPNU. Finals are tonight. Not exactly sure how the invites were sent out as Prep isn't even in the DC area top 10 this year, but they are beating some really good teams in the field.

It's definitely growing in Illinois. Lacrosse will debut as a Illinois High School Association sport in Spring 2018 after years as an "emerging sport." My kids' high school beat Culver Academy earlier this year. One of their best players is headed to Syracuse next year and one just finished at UVA. Their FO specialist is a junior and headed to Big East Champion Marquette in 2018. Youth programs are growing like crazy too. I would expect the talent to continue to improve and B1G0 and other midwestern teams to get even better as a result.

and Darien sucks! (a buddy of mine went to New Canaan)
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.
