Died in the death throes of Conk spew.
Pity.

Gotta throw the typical Donk over generalization flag on this stream of consciousness Cap'n. Jumping on the Colonel's case for being critical of Obama is BS. The ability to be critical of our leaders is part of what keeps them close to honest and is critical to our system of government. If Obama has deviated from what he campaigned on he should be called out for it. I understand that he has only been in office for less than 4 months and that he should be given an opportunity and most people are giving him that opportunity but it doesn't hurt if some people are critical. He's the frigging POTUS and should be able to handle a little criticism. If he can't, we elected the wrong guy for the job.Cap'n Cat wrote:Poor Hoagie. No, hey, Hoagie didn't deserve that barrage. But, I intentionally went overboard to make a point about this childish backseat driver crap over the president I don't give a purple flaming fvck about what's in Hoagie's link, didn't even read it. However, this nanny-nanny boo-boo Conk sh*t will be challenged and, since kind words and maturity don't seem to get through to Conk fvcks (and I use that expression very lovingly) like him, I find myself compelled to have to put down the cap gun and pick up the bazooka.
That said, though, I do love all you guys and I know D1B does, too.

Also, comparing the Colonel to Tman is BS. Tman is extremely passionate (and verbose) at pointing out Donk faults but doesn't spend a lot of time discussing Conk faults. The Colonel on the other hand has been very critical of W's handling of the military and Iraq among other things. They might have similar criticisms of Donks but they have different approaches when it comes to the Conk side of things.

No hate from me Cap'n, just sticking up for free speech. I have read T's and the Colonel's posts and believe that there is truth to what they're pointing out. I have no problem giving Obama a chance but I have little trust or faith in politicians (Donk or Conk) so I'm skeptical at best.Cap'n Cat wrote:UNI88 wrote:

Quaint retort, 88, but remember, we're all dealing in gross generalities here. That I compare Tman and Hoagie is mere comic relief based on a kernel of truth I maintain comparing their posts.
Edit: Oh, yeah, regarding the frigging POTUS who should be able to handle a little criticism? That's right, but have you read some of T's and Hoagie's posts? Oh, good, you have. That's what we're challenging.
Take 'er easy and enjoy the ride. It's all (well, mostly) fun.
Comprende?

Preaching to the choir on free speech. Glad you participate, but, remember to think of this one thing before you post: Would The Cap'n Approve?"UNI88 wrote:No hate from me Cap'n, just sticking up for free speech. I'm enjoying the ride but I do like to participate occasionally.

I've always been a contrarian.Cap'n Cat wrote:Preaching to the choir on free speech. Glad you participate, but, remember to think of this one thing before you post: Would The Cap'n Approve?"UNI88 wrote:
