Lesnar is still fighting nobodies and has even less class than I previously thought, if that was possible.

On the plus side it's free and no commercials and other blathering.
So, Mir and Couture are "nobodies"?

Why don't you just stick to reviewing beers?!!? ;)
Mir, yes, Couture should have retired five years ago.

FYI, Red Hook now has a a girilie beer out that also sticks with my theory of you finding a date   Slim Chance Light Ale. Haven't seen it around here but maybe in Missoula.

Not to mention Heath Herring. He's had what, like 5 fights in the UFC and has fought some of the best heavyweights out there in those first 5 fights? Ridiculous to say that he hasn't fought anybody yet. I can't think of another UFC fighter EVER that was thrown into the frying pan like Brock was. Grizo's right PG...stick to something you know.
Figured the truth would bring you right to his defense. Sorry but I stick by what I said. I have watched every single UfC fight from the beginning. And Lesnar has yet to fight anybody great or at their prime. Great heavyweight fighters are long since retired and none are in the pipeline that I have heard of.
Now if they have him fight Fedor Emelianenko, even though he is gaining in age also it would be a more telling fight. but untill then... :twocents: :twocents: :twocents: .You and the bacon boy will just have to stroke each other at your Brock Lesnar pajammy parties until the heavyweight class puts some real fighters out there. :thumb: :thumb:

I never said you haven't watched them PG I said you don't know shit about them. He wasn't my favorite HW but he is the top in UFC and took a harder road in his first few fights than any other has. Now granted the UFC heavyweight division is thin right now because Fedor is not in there but that's the way it goes. Fedor is fighting lesser competition than Brock is at this point. If Dana White get Fedor to come over then I will be rooting for Fedor in that fight. Your statements are invalid because they have had him fighting the best out there. Brock's power makes him a mismatch for every other HW out there except for Fedor and that makes that the only real interesting fight left at this point in a very short career so far.

Couture should have retired five years ago, huh?

Well, here's a list of the "nobodies" he beat in that time frame; Vitor Belfort, Mike Van Arsdale, Tim Sylvia, and Gabriel Gonzaga...retired indeed!

You might want to try the "I Don't Know Shit About MMA IPA" that I heard they were serving at the Rhino, my friend!

You two really have the club sewn up so here are the guys I think can beat him or give him a run at this time .slowing down as the list goes. The guys at the bottom need a few more years on them, which is why Gonzaga was worked by an old Couture. Given time though he should be good.

Fedor
Josh Barnett
Big Nog
Carwin
Gonzaga
Werdum

But that is my point, the so called best out there right now is a joke. He is fighting journeyman fighters that will put on a good show but very little else.

Mir, Couture, and Herring (to a lesser degree) are very good HW's and they don't look as good now because he handled them so easily.

All of the guys including Gabriel are more experienced MMA fighters than Brock is so why do they need more time? I think that Barnett is a very dangerous matchup for Brock due to his style and That Fedor is the top guy out there by a wide margin. I would be interested in seeing Gonzales, Cro Cop (he's supposedly health after a couple of years of not being so), Barnett, and Fedor if they can make the fights happen.

I just can't believe that you are taking anything away from what Brock has done in such a short time in the UFC.

In a few posts, Lesnar goes from fighting "nobodies" to fighting "journeyman fighters"???

Sweet Mother of Pearl, Pols...quit while you're only slightly behind!

Fedor is the only one that stands a chance against Brock at this point. But Barnett does have an outside chance at a win, IMO.

Bas Rutten, a guy that Brock has trained with, believes that the MMA fight game is 99% mental. Keyword here is "mental", and Lesnar knows this! So, I believe that Fedor is already in Brock's head, and to me, that spells bad news for the Lesnar camp.

Should the Fedor/Lesnar fight come to be, I'm pickin' Fedor in under two rounds...

   You do understand that a Journeyman fighter is basically a nobody brought into fight someone to make them look good. I think you might want to bone up some...

This really sucks because I have to side with PG on this one.

Lesner is OVERRATED

Its the same marketing campaign that is trying to sell Kimbo Slice when we all know he was done before he started in MMA.

Fedor would dump Lesner in a very short time.

Other than Fedor, Cro Cop (if healthy) and possibly Barnett, the heavyweight division is lame and has no talent, that is what makes Lesner look good. He was better on Smackdown.

So, name me a "nobody" that that Lesnar has fought, and then maybe I'll listen to you.

You are the one that might need to "bone up", but that's right up your "alley", now isn't it?
