This. :D

Actually I don't think the Chargers will make the playoffs this year. That loss to KC really hurt them.

But one thing is for sure, the 9ers season is over. There will be a lot of butthurt in NorCal this week.

Brutal loss. Watched it live. Rivers was good. Refs gave him a ton of help too though.

I could only watch the ticker at the bottom, got to watch the Raiders get thoroughly embarrassed  by the worst NFC West team instead. Yay.

Just saw the highlight of that PI that set up the winning TD...meh. On par for pretty much all the other garbage PI and holding calls made on defenders this season.

Chargers should have beat them soundly last week (turnovers kept the game as close as it was)...and the Chargers are a hair better than average this year.

On defense. Which is why I picked them up this week for the playoffs. 32 points against Oakland today, still have 2/3 remaining games at home, and face more terrible offenses in @WAS, AZ, and NYG. 8-)

I honestly don't think San Francisco is playing better than St. Louis.

Raiders could steal one next weekend. :ohno:

He should take all the time he needs to get healthy. I mean, he should want to live a comfortable life after football, so maybe he should sit out the rest of the season. :thumb:

I almost want to see the Eagles save some of the playbook in that one. I remember the year when the Eagles thumped the Cards late in the regular season then got thumped in the NFCCG.
What's the definition of "thumped"? The Eagles lost that NFC title game 32-25, so basically a TD, and they had the ball to end the game. Granted, any loss in the playoffs hurts, but that was hardly a thumping.

I like the Birds this year - I don't see Chip Kelly pulling a Reid or anything. Heck, I like the Birds chances to beat the 'Hawks and the cowgirls in the next two weeks.

Cowgirls is going to be tough. They'll have three extra days of rest plus the revenge factor going for them.

Will be sweet if we beat them twice though!

Re the 2008 NFCCG, the Cardinals were up 24-6 at halftime and coasted through the second half, blipping the gas when they needed to.

The cowgirls still have the issue, though, that they don't have much of a defense. Three days of rest isn't going to solve that. Heck, they were gassed halfway through the first quarter on Thanksgiving. I'm sure they'll be more productive on offense, but Romo looked scared to death in the pocket in that first game and he didn't even have to throw until the second half. I still see the Eagles scoring 30+ in the rematch, the question is if the cowgirls can keep up.

Does Jason Witten still play for the Cowboys?

Man, he and Romo weren't even making eye contact in several sideline shots in that game. Do they have some sort of feud going?

I do think Dez Bryant will have a helluva game in two weeks. Our secondary is just brutal. Almost as bad as the Baltimore secondary I watched yesterday. :ohno:

Did anyone see the end of the Bengals/Bucs game yesterday? I've never seen this before & if you ask me the Bengals flat out stole one.

The Bucs are trailing 14-13 & throw a pass on the last drive of the game complete to the Cincy 20. As they are lining up to spike the ball & kick a potential game winning FG, Marvin Lewis runs on the field & throws a challenge flag. Only problem is teams aren't allowed to challenge plays in the last 2 minutes. He didn't call time out - he threw the challenge flag. The refs charged Cincy with a timeout for throwing the flag & then they reviewed the play. They did get the call correct that Tampa had 12 men on the field on the pass play that got them in FG range & penalized them & brought the play back. Tampa never got back into FG range & lost the game.

So, in reality do teams have 9 challenges per game now? A coach can use the 1st 2 challenges & get them right & get a 3rd. But then they can burn timeouts and throw challenge flags 3 per half? I think they set a dangerous precedent yesterday & never should have reviewed the play, even though they got the call right. I think just charging a team a timeout is too light of a penalty for throwing a challenge flag at a point in time during the game when it's not allowed.

He said after the game he was trying to call a timeout but couldn't get a ref's attention. Wasn't sure if he did try or not. If he had, and if he had a timeout left, I'm fine with him throwing the flag. If he was just trying to get the play reviewed and didn't think it through that he had to get the timeout called then I agree.

Loved it that the Eagles, put a 33-10 spanking on Dallas ,last week surrounded by Cowboys fans ,and I got to shove it down their throats!!!!!!!!
