"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Showed with the truth - versus bullshit stats (catholic stat dork Joltin Joke) and unsubstantiated claims. PFL's opinion is what counts. You 2" dicks don't, nor will ever have an accepted opinion on the matter.89Hen wrote:Shame. We were having a good discussion until DB1 and PFL showed up.

It's sad how men and a political body feels the need to say what we can and can't do with our bodies. Once again, it's people with a contrary opinion pushing thier faiths and morals on others. A difference of opinion isn't necessarily a wrong one.D1B wrote:Showed with the truth - versus bullshit stats (catholic stat dork Joltin Joke) and unsubstantiated claims. Not surprising that nobody on the pro-choice side will answer these.89Hen wrote:First off, who's invading women's bodies? (besides Grizo?)
Secondly, do you believe the government has the right to invade the privacy of my home if my kid comes to school with evidence of abuse?
Finally, let me ask you another question... Why was Scott Peterson charged and convicted of two counts of murder?

I think you have your symbiotic relationships mixed up. What you're describing is commensalism. No one is really invading womens bodies, but no body likes having decisions made for them. Secondly, the government has the right to protect a child that is being harmed by the family. Having said that, if a woman is pregnant and decides that she can't or won't take care of it, she should have the right to abort it rather have the child where statistically, it'll probably become aburden of the state. And lastly, I'm not well versed in law so I can't answer that question.89Hen wrote:Not surprising that nobody on the pro-choice side will answer these.89Hen wrote:First off, who's invading women's bodies? You don't have to be a lawyer or judge to understand why Scott Peterson was charged with two counts of murder... one for his wife, one for the child she was carrying. It's OBVIOUS the law says an unborn child IS a life.Ibanez wrote:No one is really invading womens bodies, but no body likes having decisions made for them. Why would you protect a child the day they are born, but not the day before? What magically happens on the day of birth that grants a baby the right to life? Does God reach down and grant them a soul as they leave the mother's womb? Do they suddenly become a sentient being the moment they hit our atmosphere?

They breath on their own. Kinda like when you choose to put grandma down because the machine is breathing for her. She is not breathing on her own so you pull the plug.89Hen wrote:What magically happens on the day of birth that grants a baby the right to life?

So independent breathing is what makes somebody a person in your book. Got it. Don't let my wife know that if she times it right she can off me in the night while my sleep apnea is acting up.bobbythekidd wrote:They breath on their own. Euthanasia as a case for abortion. Interesting to say the least.
