You know, that brings up something I've wondered about. Why didn't Georgia Southern give the previous head coach a chance when they transitioned? I mean, if I'm thinking right, the guy's last game as head coach was a win over Florida. Why did they feel it necessary to go get a coach from another FCS school?
To me it kind of serves them right that Fritz kicked them to the curb as soon as he saw something shiny across the street.
What the fuck are you smoking?
We didn't give the previous guy who beat Florida a chance?
The previous guy left to become the Head Coach at West Point.
Hmmm I wonder if I just got caught in a JSO troll.....

Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star? Deep Purple: No One Came
Hey, don't take it personally. I'm just saying if you can't come close to being competitive in the worst-rated conference in FBS, it's pretty clear you don't belong there.

They were decently competitive for the most part. I think they were 3-5 last season. Funny part is that they lost four games where they scored 34+ points.
They would fit in well with the Big Sky. All offense and no defense.

Vandal fans can talk all they want about not wanting to lose face by going back to the Big Sky, but we all know they just don't want to go back to getting BTFO by their neighbor to the east every year.
