You know, that brings up something I've wondered about. Why didn't Georgia Southern give the previous head coach a chance when they transitioned? I mean, if I'm thinking right, the guy's last game as head coach was a win over Florida. Why did they feel it necessary to go get a coach from another FCS school?

To me it kind of serves them right that Fritz kicked them to the curb as soon as he saw something shiny across the street.

Well, they have a contract with Idaho and NMSU through 2017. After that, I certainly hope they don't extend it.
