".....Lena Dunham, the outspoken Clinton backer and “Girls” actress, was asked to comment about the election results as she left a Clinton VIP party at around 10:45 p.m.

“I’m sorry, not tonight,” Dunham told The Post.

“Somewhere, [Vladimir] Putin is laughing manically,” another Clinton supporter said as others broke down in tears...

.....”I honestly feel a piece of my soul died,” said Katie Larson, a 25-year-old musician living in Manhattan. “We lost a piece of our dignity as Americans.”....

....“After Brexit and this election, everything is possible from now on. A world collapsing before our eyes. Dizzying,” tweeted Gerard Araud, French ambassador to the US......

....Argentine Foreign Minister Susana Malcorra said a win by Trump in the US election would stall recent moves to improve relations between the countries.

She said the “more closed, isolationist and xenophobic” model represented by the Trump would have a negative impact on the world and relations with Latin America.

Silicon Valley bigs also freaked out.

Shervin Pishevar, co-founder of the venture capital company Sherpa Capital, which helped fund Uber, Airbnb and Slack, tweeted that if Trump wins, he would start funding a campaign to allow California to secede from the US and form a new country.

Hollywood lefties were also slack-jawed and angry.

“Xanax,” Mia Farrow tweeted.

“Putin’s gonna win this thing,” Sarah Silverman wrote on Twitter....."

Last night was a perfect example of how our Republic works. How the Electoral College works. The country will survive and we need Democrats and Republicans to rise above the vitriol of the past 8 yrs. Good Luck, Trump. You'll need it.

What a gaffe in retrospect - it may have led to the greatest election upset in the history of the country.
I don't blame Obama. The DNC that shoving along HRC through the nominating process **** themselves. If they nominated someone without a weekly **** scandal to match Trump they would have won. Absolutely unbelievable.

At least Trump will end illegal immigration, irradiate terrorism, and bring manufacturing jobs back to the rust belt. :jack:
Yeah being talked down to by Obama and his minions for 8 years had absolutely nothing to do with this.

Would you like to have a national conversation now?

I thought the networks were pulling a fast one when Minnesota didn't go to H-Rod right away. Looks like the Revolution started without me. Although my guy did get 20% in his home state of Utah.

If you've never read Fark, it's a news aggregate site that posts articles from everywhere and applies their own captions.

This morning: "France Surrenders"
The current French ambassador to the United States has tweeted that the "world is collapsing before our eyes" as Donald Trump looks set to become US President.

Gerard Araud, who is the serving ambassador, tweeting his remarks as forecasters predict the Republican billionaire will defeat Hillary Clinton.

The 63-year-old said: "After Brexit and this election, everything is now possible. A world is collapsing before our eyes. Dizziness."

The experienced diplomat would need to work with Trump and his team if the Republican becomes President, making his remarks all the more astonishing. He later deleted the tweet.
