Big double play there. Great trade, at the moment for Philly, a run for 2 outs.

I love how the announcers are talking about A-Roid being on deck like he is the best clutch hitter ever

I'm still sticking with that. It'll be nice to win it in the Bronx. Yankee fans deserve it that way.

Been pretty good this post season you have to admit.

Great job TEX. You been watching Howard?
A-Roid good in the post season, what does he have now 2 hits in the WS and 7Ks with a .143 average?? I guess that is better than Tex's one hit and 6ks with a .071 BA

Doesn't matter how many hits they get.... A-roid and Tex put runs across the plate with their hits.

The Yankees have won 26 World Series. Their fans don't deserve anything.

It's funny that they think they do. The only thing that they deserve are the ridiculous ticket prices in their new building.

And even the announcers mentioned how "calm and quiet" the Yankee's crowds have been...

That's exactly what McCarver was implying when he went on and on about "The type of crowd" and how "Quiet the crowd" was... Those are not the real Yankee's fans at the stadium, they're corporate boxes filled with fairweather fans

You do know that the post season is both the ALDS AND the ALCS along with the WS, don't you? In which case you look like a complete idiot trying to make an argument that A-Rod wasn't both stellar and clutch this post season. You prove how dumb you are with each post you make in this thread. :thumb:

That's even apparent in Minnesota, the farther away from homeplate, the more passionate the fans.

I think that is a trend in many, if not all, pro sports. The good seats are priced so high that only the wealthy and corporations can afford them.

In the early 90's I split T-Wolves season tickets with a group for $20 per seat, lower lever, 15 rows up. Within 5 years they were $40 per set and rising. The new breed of ticket holder around us would show up near the half, have a couple drinks, and leave near the end of the 3rd. It was like sitting in a yuppie bar trying to watch a game on the big screen. Needless to say we didn't keep the tickets.

They show up late, leave early, and don't know what they were watching while they were there.
