Italy/Slovakia should be 2-2, I think.

No, he was definitely offsides. Close, but at this level that SHOULD be an easy call for a ref.CrackerRiley wrote:Italy/Slovakia should be 2-2, I think.
EDIT: Doesn't matter, Slovakia just scored their third goal.

Slovs with a decisive goal. Hell of a ball and hustle to get to it.

Slovakia's up 3-1
Could this happen to a more deserving team?
And 93, good work on the new avatar

Both teams have given up on defense at this point.

And another douchebag coach walks off without shaking his counterpart's hand. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.

Re: WORLD CUP 2010
And that puts Slovokia on the US side of the bracket. Now, granted, we're going to see the Dutch end up that side, as well as one of Brazil/Portugal and maybe even Spain, but it's amazing the luck the US has with this draw. Don't get me wrong, even getting past Ghana will take a very good game as all these sides are pretty good teams, but the lack of traditional powers in wide swaths of the brackets is great to see, and where they are tends to bunched together.

Re: WORLD CUP 2010
Oh well. If they were playing a better team than England, I might be worried. Kroos, Marin, or Trochowski can step in and do well enough to get the job done. Also, I'm glad that Boateng is probably out, as Loew never should have put him in for Badstuber.bandl wrote:Ruh Roh for Germany....Shweinburgerstarterlager could miss the match against England.
