That is a good question. I see that she is going to be on Bill O'Reilly's show in a day or so. Seems to me the issue isn't the opinion of liberals, but why is she still relevant for some conservatives. It would be best for everyone if her 15 minutes of fame were up.

I also don't think it's hate, but more likely bemusement. She's clearly unqualified, yet so many continue to support her. The Dems have run their share of clowns over the years, but they usually forget about them after the election is over.

Democrats obsess just as much as Conservatives. Both parties are full of whiners.

I'm not really liberal, but Sarah seems to be full of it. She was mayor of a town that, she admitted, had no power other than to have meetings and write checks. She was governor and her term was frought with ethics violations. She has all these morals yet couldn't instill them in her kid, but wants to impose them on the rest of the country. And, what else. Oh yeah, she quit her job as governor. She QUIT! She's quit college many times, and even quit that commission prior to being elected governor. She's a professional quitter. Her quittings lead me to believe that she will quit when the Presidency gets too much for her.

When the going gets tough, Sarah gets going.
That's just my opinion.

Agreed with most of this, except for the morals/her daughter thing. Ultimately, we try to instill our values in our kids, but at the end of the day we can do our best and still fail. I think that Palin has significant weaknesses (and will not be the Republican nominee), but going after her over her daughter is not only bush league, it is irrelevant. Plus, I don't see where she is planning on imposing her moral system on anybody. I'd say questions about her credentials and her ability to lead as the Chief Executive are legitimate and plenty to concentrate on without being a$$holes over how her kid turned out.

Besides, it's Alaska for Chrisskaes. There's nothing to do up there except fish, hunt, and fvck.

I'm glad to see some people agree with me, especially MaineJeff. I think MJ and I have each other (over at AGS) that we think alike. But don't think i'm bashing her daughter. I see the lack of discipline as a reflection on her. Listen, I did some stupid shit in high school and college but you know what, one thing I was sure of was to have safe sex and to protect my family. That was the big thing, protect the family's image. I'm not perfect but I realize now how you have to be a mature adult to handle sex, emotions and consequences. Too many immature, bumpkins and thugs are have sex and producing fuckups just like them. It perpetuates the society of failures.

Personally, I think it was extremely selffish and irresponisble for her to have a child she KNEW was going to have mental problems. That is 100% unfair to the child and unfair to Sarah and her husband. That boy will never be independent (among other things) and it's a shame.

Oh please. The freaking mayor of St. Louis has responsibility for more people than the governor of Alaska.
The governor of Alaska's entire job consists of making sure the oil checks get mailed to the taxpayers on time.

Like somebody mentioned above, she quits when it gets tough. Personally I think she's the Democrat's wet dream of a candidate. The clips of her praising the secessionist Alaska Party, the party the first dude belonged to, would be priceless.
