Oh, yes, over on the FAUX Channel, that bastion of 'family values'..until you see the shows in their lineup.
Never said anything about 'their approval.'

Re: CBS Rejects Gay-Dating Ad for Super Bowl
I watched the ad.
Nothing terribly different in it than other ads-although I don't think I've seen an ad with two heteros making out like that. At any rate, I wasn't offended. If these guys have the money (which apparently is a pretty big "if") they should let them air it.
The funniest part of the commercial was the guy at the end, though.
But I think I know the whole problem. CBS is the AFC's network. WHY would they want a commercial with a guy in a Packers jersey and one in a Vikings jersey?? That ain't proppin' up the brand. Yea, we all get the "packer" symbology and that's witty, but if they've got two guys with Colts and Patriots jersey, this thing airs.

They're not really insane, but they definitely have a different viewpoint and belief set than 90% of Amercians.ASUMountaineer wrote:Who knows why 89hen says they're insane...but, I doubt that's why.
BTW, a majority of the ones I know are actually from my church, so obviously gatw's comment was off base.

So the guy wasn't just working on his passing accuracy?
The more I've thought about this, I think that the advertiser may have gone a little strong right out of the box. The obvious issue is the guys making out on the couch. I think that made it pretty easy for CBS to say "No, we're not going to air that, we wouldn't air a man and a woman making out on a couch like that" becuase they probably didn't get any ads with a man and a woman making out. But what if in the ad the two guys touch hands and look at each other longingly and the ad for Mancrunch comes up? You could still have the guy staring at them funny.
That REALLY puts the pressure on CBS because it's just like (more tame even) than the ED pill ads.
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, Mancrunch got exactly what they wanted out of this situation. This exposure (pun completely intended) is almost as good, if not as good, as getting on the Super Bowl itself.

Wasnt being intolerant just never thought about that before, it was an interesting way to look at things.
I in no way want any abortions period let alone getting rid of gays. They have every right to be here just like everyone else, they just dont have the special rights to try and get laws changed to fit their chosen lifestyle.
