I don't mind them cutting expenses for superfluous shit like names on the jerseys though. If we really do need to watch the pennies then that seems like a good place to cut an expense. I don't know exactly how much it costs but it does cost some money.

I'll go without the names at that cost. They started doing that kind of shit a while ago with the Red Zone, as in the stadium announcer saying "And the Griz are in THE DODGE RED ZONE' god damn I was hoping that Dodge didn't sell one fucking vehicle that year.

Not sure if I like the new helmet. It'll be easier to tell once its put with the rest of the uniform.

Griz will debut the new unis first game. They will look pretty sweet but I don't understand why they are putting decals on the new helments because they color they chose is a little darker than the picture shows and you won't be able to see the Griz on the helment.

Fehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The silver is much better. I really want to hold off on the judgement of everything until I see, well, everything...but I hate slate gray/"Montana Granite" so I'm not extremely hopeful.


It can't be much worse than the second championship-era jerseys were...but I just hate going from a classy, simplistic design to an unknown with a gimmicky color.

You know, looking back over this thread, someone had stated they were disappointed that there was no response to this photo of the griz's new uni's. I think the explanation is we all assumed that this was them and moved on.

I don't think the recently posted helmets go with. A fashion faux pas if I ever saw one.

They didn't go with the dark pewter helmets. They went with a lighter granite color. Some griz fans just don't keep very informed. It was posted weeks ago.
