So rumor has it that the Skins were trying to trade Haynesworth and/or Landry for McNabb instead of the draft picks. :) Damn shame that didn't work out...

I like the trade. Hopefully we draft Okung to protect him.

Under Shanahan, McNabb won't have to throw the ball 9 out of 10 plays like he did under Reid. Shanahan has alreay assembled his RBBC stable. The comparision to his Elway years is a good one.

...we are stuck with Haynesworth. Hioopefully he'll play hard for this next season. But I fear he's going to realize he doesn't have to really try anymore with $45M in the bank.

Apparently the Skins are going after Brandon Marshall, who would be a nice complement to McNabb and the rest of the receiving core (Santana Moss, Devin Thomas who developed in the latter half of the season, Cooley who will be back from a season-ending injury, etc.). They aren't willing to part with their first-round draft, so they are looking into a trade. Might Haynesworth be a part of that trade???? ;) I certainly hope so.

Devin Thomas and Malcom Kelly both turned it on in the second half. I like Cooley and all, but I think his days wearing burguny and gold are numbered with Fred Davis being a quality backup.

Yeah, forgot Malcolms name. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with having two quality tight ends though, especially those that can catch and block.
But now that you mention it....I wouldn't be all that surprised if he was on the trading block with Denver to get Brandon Marshall. It's going to take a big name or high draft pick to get him.

My Dad refers to them by thier numbers. By the end of the season all he said was "Just throw it to #11 or #12"

Just imagine this scenario....Campbell, Portis and Haynesworth to Denver for Marshall and a draft pick or two. Would you take it?

You should hold out and see if they will take Snyder in the deal too.

If I were Denver, F NO! Synder is going to have to include $20M in cash to move The Human Sloth.

I wonder what the Bee's perspective on this story is. They probably like it, being pro manure and all.

Why would it even need to be asked if I were Washington in that scenario?

Because I'm from PG County?

Seriously, would you even take longer than 0.5 seconds to make that trade if you were the Redskins GM?

The thing is, McNabb is worse of a passer the less he throws - the guy needs to throw a few passes to get into a rythymn. If he's throwing the ball less than 50% of the time, his already suspect accuracy will be even more of an issue.
