Gil, NEVER have I been more glad that NDSU wasn't invited into the Big Sky....having to deal with the Beefalo fan base on a regular basis would have been hell on earth. Seriously.....

Its laughable how you judge the entire Bison fan base entirely on two poster basically......JBB and Lakes. Speaking of panties in a wad JBB and Lakes have all of FCS's panties in a bunch it seems. Every fan base has its crazies on these sights......at least the fan bases of teams that matter and that actually have a fanbase that gives a crap. There are way too many FCS teams whose fan support are an absolute joke(you know who you are) and I think most of you would agree with that. Just as Silenoz stated it would be nice to have another fan base in the big sky who has some passion.

Montana and MSU have one thing going for them, they are the only shows in town, So its easy to have large fanbases, every other school in the Sky has to deal with 2 or more larger programs, also just because they dont come on this message board, it doesnt mean that other teams fans arent passionate. My dad doesnt come on this board, but he has been a passionate fan of Weber State long before I was born.

NDSU was 11th. Let's put this in FBS terms; would you be excited if a program like Nebraska joined your conference when 7 of the current teams were drawing Northwestern-like crowds?

It really doesn't matter why your fan support sucks, the bottom line is that it does and I am not trying to talk trash here. I feel for the programs that have to deal with larger programs near by and what not, but even with those challenges a lot of teams attendance stats are still absolutely pathetic...Example and not to pick on EWU, but NDSU gets more attendance for a regular season game coming off an 3-8 season than EWU gets for a semifinal game....I mean come on!
