I guess we will find out next year how UND stacks up with the Big Sky, except Weber we don't play them til 2014 I believe. I am glad you are happy with SUU joining since we beat them at their place.
SUU will be a top Big Sky school. UND will be with UNC and ISU.
Please explain why you think this? The fact we were 3-8 last year, play in the Great West, or the fact we are new to the FCS world.

Here is a little history lesson for you... UND vs Montana. Montana leads the series 10-7-1. Last time played in Missoula 2010 won by Montana 27-17. Last game in Grand Forks 1973 won by UND 31-10.

UND vs Montana State...MSU leads series 14-13-1 last played in Bozeman 1982 UND won 28-27. Last played in Grand Forks 1983 won by UND 21-3. Even though we are new to the Big Sky we are old foes back in the days. I think you will be impressed with UND, we didn't rack up over 600 wins by being in the cellar every year. UND has 10 losing seasons since 1960. So in 50 years we average 1 losing season every 5 years, and haven't had back to back losing seasons since 1985-86. There is your quick history lesson on UND football. I still want to hear why you think we are going to be in the cellar with ISU and UNC who are 0-2 vs UND since we transitioned to DI.

Because Maine and NH are so close to the north pole that not even the seals can find them, much less think about them.

JUST KIDDING! :sarcasm:

The top 4 CAA schools should be in the top 10 seeds. Won't happen of course.... :tothehand:

Its as relavant as playing in the Great West will make us cellar dwellers in the Big Sky. Again please explain your reasoning for UND to be at the bottom of the BSC.

Neither is most of the Big Sky. UND will be fine. Plus one of their "rivalry" games is against UNC, so they've got that going for them

I know neither is most of the Big Sky. That's why I don't want them to come. BSC needs better teams. Not mediocre or bad teams. Need teams that can beat the Griz and Cats, giving them more of a challange and harder to be the BSC champ. Instead of getting weaker teams making the conference weaker and even more shitty.

Last year UND's 3-8 team actually led the Griz 17-13 with 11:05 left in the 3rd and that was a team hampered with injuries we had our 2nd and 3rd string QB play (our starter was gone earlier in the year with injury), and UND went from trailing 13-0 to a 17-13 lead before giving up 2 TD's late in the game to lose 27-17. We will see where UND stacks up next season just a heads up don't expect a cake walk when you come to Grand Forks next year...ask NDSU (0-2 in the Alerus Center).

In most of the Griz games this year they have been down. Being ahead in a game at one point doesn't matter. It's the score at the end of the game tat does. Once again another irrelevant post by you. BSC needs teams better than the Griz and Cats. Basically what I was getting at in that last post. UND is no where near as good as either.

TXST/SAM
Series record (TXST) 50-35-5
SAM won last year (31-29) and will probably run rough shod over us this year

Could be the last meeting (unless we schedule them as our FCS in the future)

Nothing game for us really but it will be playoff positioning for SAM. They already have the SLC locked up.

I haven't seen that much snow since I lived in Montana!

I don't miss it.. Well sort of, the snowmobiling and snowboarding was awesome. But the weather down in the south is so nice.
