Jealous of A-Rod, is like being jealous of Bernard Madoff, just another cheater.

Hank Aaron hit 755 without roids, and 40 at age 39. We'll see if A-Roid can continue for a full season without his little helper.

Imagine how great his story would've been if he himself had just believed that. That's the point of being tarnished - he was great, but now we'll never know how great because of the cheating.

This is true. He had the power before and after the roids.

So the numbers ARE suspect.

The Braves CHEATED in order to get Aaron to break Babe's mark.

never mind of course that the Yankees BUILT Yankee stadium the way they did in order to help Babe hit home runs.

ALL ARE TAINTED BY CHEATING!!!

In both cases, the players did nothing to cheat. Willie Mays played in Polo Grounds, 450 to the power alleys, and Candlestick, 397 to the alleys.

If we are dancing that dance, let's look at PES Kingdome, no wind, and PES New Yankee Stadium 318 down the left field line.

That is fine. Whole point was that to keep putting asterisks for somethings (PEDs, 162-game season) but not for others is stupid and futile.

Apples and oranges. As far as I know, a single player wasn't responsible for the design of various ballparks around the league. A-Rod, for instance, didn't have to approve the drawings for the new Yankee Stadium. A-Rod, did, however, have to approve someone sticking a needle into his butt or wiping some clear liquid on his skin so that he could get stronger, faster, and recover better. In one case, the circumstances around a player change through no input of his own, in another case the single player makes a conscious decision to do something illegal or against the rules to give him a singular advantage. In the latter, the player cheats.

No, there's nothing stupid or futile about calling out cheaters on being cheaters.

Memorabilia prices for the cheaters is much cheaper than memorabilia for non-cheaters. Money don't lie.

And how do you account for hitting Homers off of roided pitchers?

Much easier than hitting a homer off a spit ball, or an old ball that's been around for a couple innings. Today, teams are required to start a game with 90 baseballs on hand.

Don't be dumb, Ruth didn't design it or even pick up a hammer. The Yanks were outdrawing the Giants while sharing the Polo Grounds because of Ruth's popularity, hence the moniker when they built a, at the time, palace for him to play in.

Don't know and don't care. The number of pitchers who were clearly on roids (through admission or investigation) and who faced ARod weren't that many. And I have A-Rod's confession that he did the 'roids because he got caught with them. He's a cheater, that's a fact.
