Bryan Edwards, a 4-star wide receiver, announced Tuesday that he is committing to South Carolina.

Edwards had decommitted from the Gamecocks in November and took a visit to Clemson, but he ultimately decided that South Carolina was the best fit for who he was as a player and what he was looking for in a program.

“Where I fit on the field and off the field,” Edwards said over the weekend when speaking about how he would make his decision, per Ryan Bartow and John Whittle of 247Sports. “Fitting in with the players, fitting in with the guys and feeling at home. I’m looking for where I want to spend the next four years as a player and a student.”

Statesboro is a typical college town. It's pluses are it isn't full of smarmy snotty UGA students, hot chicks, and it's an hour from the beach. Athens is an hour from an even bigger shithole in Atlanta.
