Glad to see you guys knock off the Johnny Come Lately from flyover territory. Lacrosse is not supposed to be played west of Hagerstown. They import most of their players from the EC(b) anyway. They are flyover in name only (FINO).andy7171 wrote:Towson upsets the 2 seed Denver! Next up Loyola. Been there, done that already.

While I agree with most of what you are saying. I read somewhere that Denver requires60-70% of scholarships go to players west of the Mississippi.93henfan wrote:Glad to see you guys knock off the Johnny Come Lately from flyover territory. Four of the final eight schools are from Maryland.

I don't care enough to look it up. I'll just agree with you instead. Fuck non ECB lacrosse!93henfan wrote:Link it or I don't believe it. When they did player intros in the final last year, I remember them being 90% east coast, at least the starters.

Ironic!andy7171 wrote:93henfan wrote:Fuck non ECB lacrosse!

Yeah fuck you. We're stealing pickle ball as a get-back.kalm wrote:Ironic!andy7171 wrote:
(BTW, it's a club sport now at EWU and there are youth leagues popping up all over the place. It's spreading)

I took a look at their roster and it does have more flyover people that I imagined, but it still has 22 players from the eastern time zone, and I'm willing to bet the starters are even more slanted toward the east.andy7171 wrote:Looking at Denver's roster, they do have a shit ton of players from Colorado, California and several other wide open uninhabited areas.

A kid from my son's HS got a scholarship offer for lacrosse from Denver. And he is only a freshman right now.93henfan wrote:I took a look at their roster and it does have more flyover people that I imagined, but it still has 22 players from the eastern time zone, and I'm willing to bet the starters are even more slanted toward the east.andy7171 wrote:Looking at Denver's roster, they do have a shit ton of players from Colorado, California and several other wide open uninhabited areas.
It is quite an accomplishment for a school nobody's ever heard of out in Colorado to put together a championship lacrosse program though.
Other than Animal Husbandry and Cannabis Cultivation and Distribution, does Denver have any accredited programs?CAA Flagship wrote:A kid from my son's HS got a scholarship offer for lacrosse from Denver. And he is only a freshman right now.93henfan wrote:

He had offers from UNC, Syracuse, and just about every major program but chose Denver.![]()
He is a faceoff (or whatever you call it) specialist. He wins them nearly every time, then runs off the field.![]()
I'm just amazed that this kid is a freshman in HS and he doesn't have to go through the hassle of choosing a college anymore.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Denver is very good academically.93henfan wrote:Other than Animal Husbandry and Cannabis Cultivation and Distribution, does Denver have any accredited programs?CAA Flagship wrote: A kid from my son's HS got a scholarship offer for lacrosse from Denver. Yes, they have top 25 programs in Animal Husbandry and CC&D. Why so defensive?CAA Flagship wrote:Actually, I'm pretty sure Denver is very good academically.93henfan wrote:
