Economy and Safety are by far the most important issues to me (and by "me" I mean what I think is most important for the country as a whole).

Good list but I don't think I've ever claimed to not be on the right. My conservatism is mainly economic and I tend to be libertarian on many issues in that I want the government to stay out of it and leave us alone. Also I would argue that Sticky leans to the left side of the fence rather than the right.

In all seriousness, I totally agree when it comes to government. Right now, I guarantee you I personally have as much reason (and probably much more) to hate big government, government monopolies, and political hypocrisy from from the left as anyone else on this board. I've witnessed first hand the lack of principle from "small government, pro business, pro competition" Republicans as well as "pro-environment, limited growth, egalitarian" Democrats on both a local and state level and it's truly sickening.

They all suck and to be quite honest, treating people (vendors, customers, etc) is a fool's errand in this climate but one in which I refuse to not remain guilty of.

So......my core values remain liberty, fair competition, and compassion and I really don't care where that places me.

I do find myself mostly either aligning with, or being challenged in a well reasoned and healthy way by you fine people...even the rat bastard conservatives like 89hen.
