I’m just pointing out that as usual, you are the opposite of correct.kalm wrote:Wow! Two whole posts over an unlikeable candidate who lost in a primary?CID1990 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 5:12 pm Clyburn only issued his endorsement a day or two after she called him “stupid” (very Trumpy of her)
He said it himself - he was content to mind his own business until he got called stupid.... and stupid for what? For supporting Joe Biden - the moderate (and moderately senile) candidate.
Clyburn is a moderate himself and he commands a lot of respect in the Democratic Party and in SC - precisely because he is measured and even-keeled, and even a bit bipartisan at times. In other words, he’s the Dem Mitt Romney with more favorables in his own party than Mitt.
Your heroine should have lost on poor judgment alone, so Congress is better off. They have enough populist bomb throwers on both sides of the aisle as it is

Some of your points are fair but you’re working awfully hard to make them.

Ohio 11 is the quintessential example of buying elections. Turner had a massive lead in polls until the money decided to rally around another black woman with no personality or political experience at all.
That said, even though she's smarter than any 2 people on the squad she doesn't have any political shrewdness at all. Really neither the Trumpy GOP nor the proggy donks have any real figurative quarterback.

Re-read my posts from last year to find the answer. For that matter, my posts from 2016. God, are you lazy.
And, Klam, this is your golden era: Democrat control of the Executive branch and Congress, plus progtards dominating every corporate boardroom in the Fortune 500.

So far, all they have to show for their majorities is a commission to figure out how to call a riot a coupIvytalk wrote:Re-read my posts from last year to find the answer. For that matter, my posts from 2016. God, are you lazy.

And maybe a 1T “infrastructure” bill, just 100 billion of which is for bridges and roads
I cant wait to read the text of the bill after all the poison pills get added... the squat will kill the entire Biden legislative agenda yet
