Nova was down? What's your rationale for that? They almost made the comeback. AND they had the best player in college football today. That OT failure doesn't translate to the hard hitting Nova put on, either.

Classic game. This game combined with other games in the playoff series have to count in the overall legend of College Football. Right now the focus of all college fans is on EWU. They have hosted a classical series of games. Its too bad the title game can't be played at "The Roo" (is that proper form?)

No smack intended, but I have to bring this up. Does everyone really think Nova's line was in a league of their own? Not saying they aren't good, but some of you on here would have had is believe that they were an NFL line. I thought no one was going to be able to get by #71, but I sure did see Renard Williams wreaking all kinds of havoc on that Nova O-Line and a lot of tackles in the backfield. What gives?

For a "finesse" team that plays in the Big Fluffy conference, I sure as hell saw some hard-hitting smash mouth football out there tonight. I think it's time some of you admit that you under-estimated our defense. We weren't ranked #1 for no reason, and our defense was the main reason we're playing for a National Championship.

In the later part of the 2nd half when Nova had a nice sustained drive for a TD that their O-line really dominated EWU. I figured that was going to be the turning point and what we would see the rest of the game (ala the NC in 2009), but it wasn't the case. In the end I would say EWU D-line definately won the battle.

Did Nova even get 100 yards of offense in the 2nd half?
