Re: Old Dominion at Delaware
Do Delaware fans realize its a lose-lose situation for them? You beat ODU it's gonna be "so what you're the national runner-ups from last year against a program that's in its first year of CAA football...you're supposed to beat them at home"...if you lose you can bet there will be an even bigger thread for UD fans eating crow. I also have no intentions of that being smack talk just my honest opinion. I also hope you're not considering me one of the so-called "yahoos".
Anyway for those UD fans that want to follow ODU football on twitter...

Oh no you don't. Don't play the innocent bystander. 21 pages you guys have subjected us to.ODUalum11 wrote:Do Delaware fans realize its a lose-lose situation for them? The five yahoos: ODUalum11, CAA Flagship, Razor Ramon, Jay Bilas and the triple Infinity sign guy or whatever the hell that is supposed to be.
Not only are we better at football, we're better at smack. Speaking of, we are now less than 22 hours from the: smack-down.
I'm done now...until tomorrow.

Re: Old Dominion at Delaware
No. No. No. It's a win-lose. Either we win, and take another step towards 7 D-1 victories which a guaranteed playoff bid, or we lose and it's regroup for Maine. It doesn't work that way in big boy football. Delaware is expecting to win on Saturday. Not because ODU is in their first year of CAA football but because they had a badass attitude and hate everyone. It seems like the argument of a ODU poster goes, "We're lightyears ahead of you in everything, we'll be dominating in a couple of years, we'll surprise you and CAA members on Saturday but if we don't we have the 1st year member card to play."ODUalum11 wrote:Do Delaware fans realize its a lose-lose situation for them? I'm expecting ODU to come play and play well. If we win I won't say how lucky we are to avoid an embarrassing loss as you put it...I'll say, "nice, we've done it a thousand times before, let's go get Maine."

FACT: ODU will win.
Real shame that UD fans can't accept reality and ended up dragging this thread out 500+ pages.

I like how some of you UD fans refer to it as "big boy football"...I get the impression you guys think your the Green Bay Packers and ODU is just some pop warner football program.UD1Hens wrote:It doesn't work that way in big boy football.ODUalum11 wrote:Do Delaware fans realize its a lose-lose situation for them? They are going to seem like the Packers to you compared to the Pop Warner teams you've been playing.ODUalum11 wrote:I like how some of you UD fans refer to it as "big boy football"...I get the impression you guys think your the Green Bay Packers and ODU is just some pop warner football program.UD1Hens wrote:

I really like how your big boy education provides your alumni enough income to be the most giving donor base in the CAA. Oh wait, nevermind, that's us...Rob Iola wrote:It's "you're" with the apostrophe - we have big boy education as well...ODUalum11 wrote:

...Anyways, how's that new stadium expansion of yours going? I can't wait to see this tomorrow:
Re: Old Dominion at Delaware
In all fairness you are in the CAA now...you need an education on CAA smack. Everyone outside of the CAA doesn't play big boy football. The Big Sky is the Big Fluff (I know I know, Montana is good and EWU last year), the Missouri Valley Football Conference are slow mid westerners and the CAA exploits them in the playoffs...on the road, the So Con is a one trick pony. We just refer to it as "big boy" to you because it's your first go round. After this year, you too can call others small and the CAA big.ODUalum11 wrote:I like how some of you UD fans refer to it as "big boy football"...I get the impression you guys think your the Green Bay Packers and ODU is just some pop warner football program.

Just because the alumni doesn't donate to athletics doesn't mean they haven't donated to the school in general. That's pretty small minded of you.∞∞∞ wrote:I really like how your big boy education provides your alumni enough income to be the most giving donor base in the CAA. Oh wait, nevermind, that's us.

Got all my fiscal year end stuff done. I'll be proceeding from Montgomery County MD to Kent County DE tonight and then onward to tailgate in the Gold Champion lot at 8ish, and then to watch ODU get humiliated at noon.
