Joey the Con Biden is waging war against the incoming Trump administration anchored with his idiotic spending
why would he do that? Because he doesn’t give a ****
https://nypost.com/2025/01/04/busine...ill-take-time/
As deficits explode, the Treasury will have to issue more debt at those lower prices and higher yields to attract enough buyers
Larry McDonald, a former Lehman Brothers bond trader and author of the influential Bear Traps Report, lays out in chilling detail Biden’s going-away “gift” to Trump.
Yes, all that student-loan forgiveness, green-energy subsidies, handouts to migrants, expensive spending boondoggles like the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act, and arms to Ukraine are adding up.
According to McDonald, Biden has ramped up his spending as he’s about to depart from office.
Between Oct. 1 and Trump’s January inaugural, the Bidenistas are on track to spend $2 trillion, or 30%, of the annual budget they proposed.
“Trump will have to cut spending for the rest of the year to stay within the limits of the allocated budget,” he says.

Biden attacked the USA again, with his executive order banning offshore drilling
https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/06/business ... index.html
Trump needs to simply issue an executive order that bans all environmental lawsuits for a period of 12 years and just let Big Oil run free and unfettered for 4 years.

We didn’t even have a vaccine yet “the day Biden stepped into office.” Nor did we know the full extent of the disease (Christ, we’re still learning). 460,000 deaths from Covid occurred that year alone.
You’re making it sound as though medical science and economists all knew exactly the best shutoff date for the spigot.
Inflation and economic policies juxtaposed with acceptable levels of mortality and economic recovery (jobs lost, small businesses closed, real estate development) is a highly subjective topic.
It wasn’t exactly a typical scenario. Hey look at the unnecessary inflation! We should have taken more risks with Covid, afforded millions more deaths and let the homeless crisis flourish even more as people couldn’t afford rent.
You’re Monday morning QBing again.

There isnt a homeless crisis, they 34 billion spent on it every year is being stolen by politicians and non profit administrators.

According to the CDC, the first non-trial person to get the vaccine got it on Dec 14, 2020. By Dec 31, 2020, 2.8 million people in the US had the vaccine, up from 1 million on Dec 24, 2020. By January 26, 2021 (yes, 6 of those days are under Biden's admin) there had been 23 million doses. Your comment that we didn't even have a vaccine yet the day Biden stepped into office is directly refuted by the CDC. Yep. The left hates oil and natural gas yet many still drive gas cars vehicles and they all buy petroleum based products of which there are thousands of. It’s literally in the majority of products. Biden has a gas powered corvette and literally rides around in giant gas powered SUV and flies around in a 747. Fooking hypocrite.Bobcat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 2:00 pm Biden attacked the USA again, with his executive order banning offshore drilling

Trump needs to simply issue an executive order that bans all environmental lawsuits for a period of 12 years and just let Big Oil run free and unfettered for 4 years.
That 2019 decision came from a lib donk Obama appointed judge. But the Lands Act, which allows presidents to withdraw areas from mineral leasing and drilling, does not grant them the legal authority to overturn prior bans, according to a 2019 court ruling - meaning a reversal would likely require an act of Congress. That order came in response to Trump's effort to reverse Arctic and Atlantic Ocean withdrawals made by former President Barack Obama at the end of his presidency...
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy ... 025-01-06/
Trump should issue an exec order overturning it his 1st day. Left will immediately sue and have it heard before a donk circuit judge. Trump’s EO will then be immediately overturned based on the 2019 ruling. Appeal that to the circuit court of appeals and then to SCOTUS. Possible 2026 SCOTUS case.

What exactly did you win? You said the economy was in shambles. I pointed to actual data that said the average US GDP growth over the 3 quarters prior to Biden taking office was 4.35%, with a high of 8.7% growth in one of those quarters. There's no economic theory that would classify that as shambles. You then said that we were still in the throes of COVID and didn't even have a vaccine yet when Biden took the office. Yet at least 7% of the population had already received the vaccination and the rate of uptake was accelerating. I can't seem to find anything you said that was remotely correct, including your premature claim of victory. The only thing that seems to be true was your admittal that your memory was off. I agree with that.kalm wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 5:01 amSo my memory was a little off. This changes virtually nothing about my point.GannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 3:22 pm

Bout time the US acquires more land. Last time the US did was 1947 when acquired the Mariana, Caroline Islands, and Marshall Islands as UN trust territories. They all later became self-governing.
Last time aquired land that didn’t later become self governing was the US Virgin Islands which purchased from Denmark in 1917.
Look at all the lands acquired 1783 to 1898.
Great countries acquire land. But outside the above mentioned islands, the US has been sitting on it ls laurels in terms of acquiring new land for the last 127 years.

We don't need to buy Greenland for defense because NATO is already handling that task. And it would be cheaper to build a new canal that can handle todays big ships than to take back the canal and the enormous costs of modernization and upkeep that come with it.
Since China already has plans for that new canal, all we need to do is wait for them to build and then take the new canal. Nicaragua may beat Canada to the being the 51st State
