AS for the game, I'd say it breaks down like this...

40% chance of a big win Montana
35% chance of a close win Montana
25% chance of a close win SDSU

I'd love to see my Jacks win but I think Montana breaks the odd year streak at home.
'03 was a very surreal year. We beat FBS Idaho, but LOST to Idaho STATE (only our 2nd loss to them since 1984);
'05 was a "rebuilding year" for the Griz. Lost to Oregon, EWU and MSU that year.
'07 was the daggar. Everybody felt WOFFORD got screwed winning the SoCon and having to come to Wa/Griz. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: And remember, the guy who missed that FG is now kicking on Sundays. :| :|

It DOES scare me about the 1st round/deep run/1st round/deep run/1st round/deep run pattern we've been on since 2003. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: The biggest difference between THIS team and last years team is no real big names on defense. No Colt Andersons, no Kroy Biermans, etc.

True, but I think the offense has looked better this season than any season under Hauck. Phen seems to have finally figured out how to call an effective game.

If I remember correctly, I think Richmond owed us a little revenge from a trip to WA-GRIZ in the playoffs a while back. Now its our turn.

I was going to, but then i realized that its when I am goin home for T-day w the fam. And since I rarely get home, my ma and sister would prolly kill me if I booked it for the game. So Im going to have to be sneaky about this  8-)

Just got my ticket. Section 128, Row 12, Seat 12. I'm happy with the seat I got from the "best available" option. Last year against Tx State, we sat in the last row of the new addition. Not bad seats, but there was a "small" crowd so I would have liked to have been closer.

Well, if you get stuck with a cruddy seat this year, just move to another open one in another section. Once you get in, and people have had time to get to their seats, I have never had a problem taking an empty one closer to the field.

I would rather shut ASU up!

But on the topic of SDSU, as long as our offense keeps doing what they have been doing (SCORING POINTS), and get to our average (34), then this game is in hand. If we fail at this mark, I don't know how we will possibly conjure up a stout defense.

Tough matchup for our first trip to the playoffs. But at least I get to see the game in person since, first since we lost 7-0 to Montana (i've lived in MT since 05). I don't even need to talk about strengths and weaknesses because it seems to have been all brought up, I will just wait for the game to start, and cheer loud for the jacks.

The sdsu forums have been ridiculous this week so I quit posting. I did try to tell a couple people they were being idiots, but it doesn't seem to matter over there. The good news is I have worn a different SDSU sweatshirt every day this weak, and have gotten a lot of interesting comments from Griz fans. :D Now I just hope Griz fans are as good as I hear and will provide me with lots of free beer prior to the game. :thumb:

What? No photos of WA Griz yet? Actual photo's are worth at least 10 points in the game. Discussion of how loud it is adds another 3-7 points!!!

I better fix that, and I'll even start everyone off with an older photo first.

By the way Rabbit3467, the tailgating starts in the upper right corner of this photo and wraps around (counter clockwise)the stadium which then takes you into the heart of the tailgating section.

The more I look at this came, the more I am thinking the Griz run away with it.

In the absence of a massive and uncharacteristic UM brain fart, I don't see the #33 offense doing much against the #7 defense, nor do I see the #4 defense being able to shut out the #7 offense.

Griz 32, SDSU 9.

Starting to get pretty "jacked" about the game. Been a year since I've seen the Griz play in person. This one game a year shit gets old. Good thing I move back in May

For any Jack or Griz fans that want to meet up at the tailgates here is a Google Map link to the one I'll be at and I also added the one that I usually stop by on the way to mine. You can click on the links when the map opens on the left side of the page and it will designate which tailgate is which. You can also just click the blue placemarkers and it will tell the same story.

Ursus's map is spot on!

If you're still havin' trouble after lookin' at it, look for a VERY large crowd/line of some of the hotest women on the Planet, and that's where you'll find me, Ursus, Alpha, Pols, and some VERY good food and conversation! After 7+ years, I don't know why Pols and Alpha are there, but out of generosity, we've learned to tolerate them.

Trust me on this one!!
