I think every team in this conference is about due for an entire half of breaks.SDHornet wrote:We were due.CatBlitz22 wrote:

Eastern Washington University's running back, Taiwan Jones (22), slips past Northern Arizona's Taelor Worrell in the 1st quarter, October 9, 2010 in Cheney, Wash. (Dan Pelle/Spokesman-Review)

Eastern Washington's Renard Williams (98) and Tyler Washburn (51) knock the helmet off the head of the Northern Arizona running back, Zach Bauman (35) in the 2nd quarter, October 9, 2010 in Cheney, Wash. (Dan Pelle/Spokesman-Review)

Eastern Washington's WR Nicholas Edwards (80) stretches for the goal line, dragging Northern Arizona's Matt Estrada (5) for the Eagles' first score in the 1st quarter, October 9, 2010 in Cheney, Wash. (Dan Pelle/Spokesman-Review)

Eastern Washington's Tyler Hart blocks a punt attempt by Northern Arizona's Drew Zamora in the 2nd quarter, October 9, 2010 in Cheney, Wash. (Dan Pelle/Spokesman-Review)

Northern Arizona's CB Randy Hale, Jr. (14) and Eastern Washington's WR Brandon Kaufman (1) battle for a pass in the end zone in the 2nd quarter, October 9, 2010 in Cheney, Wash. Both came down with the ball, but it was ruled a touchdown for Eastern Washington. (Dan Pelle/Spokesman-Review)

Re: Epic Photo(s)
What the heck is going on in that picture in the vicinity of Hale's facemask? Looks like a double-exposure of some sorts with Kaufman's gloves. At first I thought it was a reflection in Hale's shield, but shields don't go all the way down to the bottom do they? Weird.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:

EDIT: Nevermind, I see that's Kaufman's whole hand. I couldn't make it out at first. The pattern of the glove threw me.

That's pretty cold, knocking a guy's helmet off and sticking a tennis ball in his mouth.

Sick photo. Another sick one would be of that hit a UNC player made while TJ was mid air jumping over someone. He hurdled over a guy and then immediately got decked.
Re: Epic Photo(s)
One of the risks of hurdling. *shrug*SDHornet wrote:Sick photo. Another sick one would be of that hit a UNC player made while TJ was mid air jumping over someone. He hurdled over a guy and then immediately got decked.

Why is that not a touchdown? If he hasn't touched out of bounds, he's still in play and so long as the ball gets the inside of the pylon, it's still in play.CatBlitz22 wrote: Christmas present from the BSC refs. Hint: (that's not a TD):

It appears to me that he does NOT have control of that football.mcveyrl wrote:Why is that not a touchdown? Re: Epic Photo(s)
He doesn't have possession. In this case he just didn't hold on, and the ball came out as he was diving. Similar thing happened in the Seahawks~Chargers game earlier this year; Deion Branch was about a half yard from the endzone and a SD defender came in and punched the ball out right before he crossed the line, ball went out of the back of the endzone for a touchback instead of a TD. Forced or not, player must have possession as he crosses the line.mcveyrl wrote:Why is that not a touchdown? Well, there you go. My eyes are still sort of deceiving me, but obviously if he didn't have possession, it's not a score.
Re: Epic Photo(s)
I really wish he would stop doing that. That's exactly how he got hurt (badly) and got knocked out of the game against MSU. He's incredible to watch, but damn does he take some hits.SDHornet wrote:Sick photo. Another sick one would be of that hit a UNC player made while TJ was mid air jumping over someone. Yea, when I first looked at it his fingers blended into the uniform and I thought he was holding the ball like a soda can. It still kind of looks like that to me but I'm half blind and I can kind of make out his fingers. Sorry to cause the fuss.

McNeese scores a touchdown midway through the first quarter to take a 7-0 lead in Death Valley.

How many Death Valleys are there in football? And how many Big Blues?
I've seen some of the newb ODU posters calling their team Big Blue.
Yeah, good luck with that. The line starts back there.

Deader clearly has control of the ball with his thumb and index finger and he has already begun to spike the ball in celebration of his TD.AZGrizFan wrote:It appears to me that he does NOT have control of that football.mcveyrl wrote:
