Don't know where Cleets gets the idea that CS is some kind of hotbed of religious conservatism. Even JSO doesn't seem to think there is a cogent argument against gay marriage, even though he won't admit it.
I don't think that CS.com is a hotbed for religious conservatism
I think that obviously on a National Level somebody must be lying
because nobody seems to openly admit to being against Gay Marriage
However the last time I checked there didn't seem to be too many places available for gays to get married

so somebody must be voting against it..?
yet nobody seems to want to admit that they are
and the only reason a person could possibly be against Gay Marriage would be Biblical
so apparently the Bible seems to be acceptable as legislation

What's that, chizz? Free verse? Are you channeling your inner e e cummings?

It's a poem...

Not true... (well 1/2 true)
I don't iron jeans - I might wear a purple shirt now and again

The ironed jeans is weird. But what is wrong with purple shirts? I wear them every Saturday during the Autumn months.

IMO, marriage is a religous construct and the government should stay out of it and just sanction civil unions (gay or straight). They can leave the decision of whether to declare a union to be a marriage up to religous institutions.

Since I know that that is not going to happen, I support gay marriage. There is no reason that the government should deny two people of the same gender the ability to enter into a contract that they allow two people of differing genders to enter into.

Oppose. Except I choose the term "homosexual" rather than "gay" as that more directly conveys the situation.
