The irony is rich indeed for a poster who is constantly defending and deflecting for Christians attempting to moralize and tell people what to do and think".

You're okay with "moralizing and telling people what to do and think" as long as it's your tribe doing it.
:ohno: Wrong.

You're making shit up, or you don't know what you're talking about.

Look through my posts.

Holy shit. I takes weeks off and this is the best you got. :ohno:

Only HDoge is more lazy.

Garden variety religious phonies trying to sell what they know is bullshit. "Give us what you have and after you die you'll be rewarded."

Seriously, SG, you and me both know you don't believe a word of that drivel and you also know its purpose is 1) to separate suckers from their money and 2) provide a target-rich environment for your pedophile millionaire-preachers. Like the one Trump calls his spiritual advisor who just resigned over molesting a 12 year old girl. Nice crowd you run with. :coffee:

 Yeah, sure.

If you've understood anything from my posts, I don't run with any, "you need to do X in order to keep a gift from Jesus."

Quite the opposite. It's why I point out the moralizing of those on this board that think they've found some sort of "gotcha" to revoke a Christian's salvation.

You've never defended mullah deconnkis, pontius paxton, etc.?

Pro-life is "moralizing and telling people what to do and think."
Banning books is "moralizing and telling people what to do and think."
Preventing parents from taking their children to drag shows is "moralizing and telling people what to do and think."
Preventing LGBTQ+ people from reading books to children is "moralizing and telling people what to do and think."
Telling parents they and medical professionals can't make healthcare decisions for their children is ''moralizing and telling people what to do and think."

Lots of Republicans are big into "moralizing and telling people what to do and think" but you never call them out for it.

Uninspired name calling is for posters who are losing.

salvation.... a hole in the ground where you become compost. And when they put you there, that's where you stay - just like Jesus. Unless you believe some preposterous bullshit about dead people walking out of their grave and flying away up into the sky.

Tell us you don't believe that superstitious nonsense, SG. :coffee:

Silence!

I am so powerful I can revoke salvation even from the most pure of believers through the guise of suggesting community standards and social mores.

I don't listen or talk to them. I only talk Christianity on this board, or if someone directly asks me my thoughts.

But you are correct in that Republicans are probably more to blame. It's also why my favorite "Christian quote" is when Maude Flanders said that she was going to Bible camp to learn how to be more judgemental. It's funny because it's true. Jesus grants us salvation, but there are all these twats out there trying to tell us what Jesus said and did and how a particular person is not meeting Jesus standards. Gold.

I remember when my wife showed me the Christian groups Trump was affiliating himself with and they were full blown nuts, should be run out of town types. That worries me.

The excuses we’ve heard so far for Biden’s terrible debate performance and/or looking terrible:
-He had a cold.
-It was CNN’s fault for not fact checking Trump (even though Biden also told numerous lies).
-It was the makeup artist’s fault
-The debate was too late, Biden is best from 10 AM-4 PM (sounds like a sundowner).
-He prepared too much. Lol I failed the test because I studied too hard.

And now the latest. Despite holing up and resting at Camp David for a week before the debate, he’s blaming too much international travel. Sleepy Joe.

Seems we heard similar phrases from the Triumvirate of Idiocy on this board. Backtracking has been spectacular.

Don't be so hard on yourself, CH and BDK. You're more the Triumvirate of the gullible than idiocy but you're not alone. As PT Barnum said, there's a sucker born every minute.
