Former UMass Hockey Goalie Named to US Olympic Team

Post by Col Hogan »

Jon Quick, who wqas the UMass goalie during the Minutemens first ever NCAA tourney appearance, and who currently plays for the L.A. Kings of the NHL, has been named to the U.S. Hockey team for the upcoming Olympics...
Quick joins Thomas Pock, Justin McCarthy and John Lyons to represent the UMass hockey program in the Winter Olympics. Pock played for Austria in the 2002 Winter Olympics (Salt Lake City), while McCarthy and Lyons played for the United States in the 1924 Chamonix, France Winter Olympics (the first Winter Olympic games).
