Basketball oddity during UNI/ODU game

I don't like it either. Started off as a good thing but turned against mid majors very fast

Yep, both teams were locks for at-larges and now ODU is on the bubble. Every year we say mid-majors are screwed out of bids and then we fight each other for them late in the season. No one to blame but ourselves for participating though...unfortunately we need the exposure since ESPN won't give it to us in the regular season. It's a Catch-22. Like I said somewhere else, I bet you more mid-major bids have been lost by this thing than gained over the years (plus it feeds off the RPI's of better conferences, which would be the MVC this year. What does the MVC have to gain by playing these games?). Whatever, it is what it is.

Agree completely and would on your board as well but blueman1975 sent me a pm saying that the board was for monarch fans only so watch it or get banned. I asked him to not threaten me without avrule being broke he then said it isn't a threat then deleted my posts and banned me. I actually like odu and wear my odu hat a lot that jbbp sent me. Oh well, like you said it is what it is
