Agent Rick Smith said Thursday that Delhomme is at Cleveland's team headquarters in Berea, Ohio. The Browns have been shopping for a quarterback, and earlier this week acquired backup Seneca Wallace in a trade and released Derek Anderson.
Delhomme went 58-40 in seven seasons as the Panthers' starter and led them to one Super Bowl appearance. He was cut as the Panthers trimmed salary — Delhomme is still owed $12.5 million — and so they could promote Matt Moore to starter.
Delhomme is coming off his worst season, throwing a career-high 18 interceptions. He broke down in tears last week as he said goodbye to the Panthers and their fans.
