MLB Deadline Deals

San Diego so far maybe winner today gettig Ludwick.

ChiSox are pissed at Washington.

Yankees taking anyone they can get their hands on... Berkman, Kearns and now reports are they are getting Kerry Wood.

They got all 3, and didn't have to give up much for them. Berkman will be a nice addition, giving Teixeira some days off from time to time and still be able to hit.

Red Sox acquire Jarrod Saltalamacchia. No word yet on who was sent to Texas... but it could be Mike Lowell.

I'm starting to think Houston and AZ ought to be outed as the new Charley O. Finleys of the world....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
